Thanks to @lisbeth-kk for tagging me :) This was my first full year as a fic writer and it was rather productive (32 in total, I think), so this is a chronological list of my personal favorites.
This is my main ACD/Victorian Johnlock series in which I have written Holmes as autistic, demisexual, and touch averse. I started writing this at the suggestion of my therapist after I learning that I am on the autism spectrum and it's the main way I've been processing all of that. The series is basically about how Holmes and Watson come to understand each other romantically and how Holmes learns to enjoy physical intimacy.
"Ritualistic" - (POV Holmes, NSFW, Jan 16 2025) Holmes frets about his romantic feelings for Watson and describes how he rather accidentally initiated their first successful sexual encounter.
"Pagan Ritual" - (POV Holmes & Watson, NSFW, Mar 14 2025) After being separated during the events of Hound of the Baskervilles, Holmes and Watson have a spicy reunion on top of the tor. I really liked writing the flirty dialogue and finding subtle ways to show how closely linked they are to one another in their individual thoughts.
"Morpheus" - (POV Watson, NSFW, May 2 2025) Definitely my most explicit story, set during the events of "Illustrious Client." Holmes discovers that morphine alleviates some of his sensory symptoms and uses the opportunity to show Watson a good time.
"Spindrift" - (POV Holmes, May 14 2025) Holmes has an autistic meltdown when his plans change unexpectedly and realizes that touch sometimes says what words cannot.
"Green" - (POV Watson, June 2 2025) Watson tells his best friend, Elliott, about the time he had to save Holmes from the aggressive attentions of a flirtatious police constable. This story was super fun to write, I loved being able to give Watson some external support and show how he chivalrously defends Holmes's demisexuality. Watson was all about the chivalry in the canon, and it often manages to be rather endearing so I wanted to preserve that about his character in my stories.
"Present Perfect" - (POV Holmes, July 21 2025) I still don't know why writing this story made me cry so hard, because on the surface it has nothing to do with my life, but for some reason this story was extremely cathartic for me.
"Hesitate Unto Darkness" - (POV Holmes, NSFW, Aug 19 2025) Holmes really struggles about voicing his intimate needs, and in this one he agonizes about his inability to spontaneously kiss Watson when he gets the urge. Finally Holmes gives up on subtlety, following Watson upstairs and banging the shit out of him once he's gotten into bed.
"Hands & Fingers" - (POV Holmes, NSFW, Sept 9 2025) After having written so much about the difficulties Holmes has with sex and intimacy, I wanted to show how he has come to enjoy it all and so gave him a little slut phase with this one and the next two. After Holmes has a nightmare in the middle of the night, Watson gives him a particularly soothing massage. Once again, Holmes has problems coming out and saying what he wants so must try to trick Watson into seducing him. This is a real theme, lol.
"Lips & Mouth" - (POV Holmes, NSFW, Sept 10 2025) Holmes's slut phase continues as he gets busted trying to get into Watson's pants while Watson is napping.
"Good Vibrations" - (POV Holmes, NSFW, Nov 2 2025) The conclusion of Holmes's slut phase, in which he seduces Watson into seducing him on a train to Sheffield. This is the episode to which I alluded in "Pagan Ritual."
The Shenanigans of Sherlock Holmes
This is my new Holmes series, in which I and my partner (SirArthurKittenDoyle) are attempting to write a Johnlock fic which is related in some way to every story of the original Holmes canon. This series is open to ALL Sherlock Holmes adaptations and universes, and, while I will still be using my Second Story iteration of the characters sometimes, I really want to use this series to start branching out of my highly insular comfort zone.
"Omissions" - (POV Holmes, Dec 21 2025) This was my fic based on "The Gloria Scott," and is about what Holmes left out of his account of his friendship with Victor Trevor. I was having all kinds of ridiculous feelings about making Holmes have any kind intimate interaction with a man who wasn't Watson, so this felt strange to write but I'm still happy with it.
And, last but not least, there is a one-off story I wrote called "Jackpot" (POV Watson, Oct 13 2025) which ended up being one of my all-time favorites. The idea was in response to someone's complaint that not enough people wrote about Watson's gambling problem, so I wrote about Watson losing everything at a baccarat game in which Holmes happened to be playing as part of an investigation. Holmes agrees to pay off Watson's debts in exchange for some "physical services," which basically entails Watson going back to 221B and being Holmes's human blanket. This is because this version of Holmes is much like my Second Story version - autistic, asexual, and in desperate need of deep pressure therapy. I think part of why I like this story so much is because I'm very much poking fun at myself, as I often as my own Watson for this same service - I can't help it, I just love when he lays on top of me, so this is me trying to imagine how weird it would be from the other person's perspective. It ended up being very cute, and I often think of turning this one into a limited series, because I really love this version of Watson. Thanks for your interest!
