Red-vented bulbul nestling
I am LOVING this book and all of its twists and turns!
Finally started reading Nestlings (only like 3 years after everyone else who is into vampire stories read it!). Two notes so far:
1. This is a really good book
2. It is a personal attack on me specifically that the Guy-expy in this retelling of Rosemary's Baby shares my exact music taste

LISTEN TO THE BABIEEESSS
Apparently great horned owls prefer to adapt older nests of other predatory birds like hawks and I know we've had those on the property.
(if you think they're a different type of owl lmk but I've been listening to and comparing noises. Sierra Nevada foothills, northern California)
