Tragic Accident Near Bani Bridge in Nerwa
A young man from Paonta Sahib drowned while bathing in the river near Bani Bridge in the Nerwa region of Himachal Pradesh.
According to reports, the youth had set out on the Churdhar pilgrimage along with his friends from Haryana. During the trip, while bathing in the stream, he suddenly drifted into deep water.
Bystanders present at the scene attempted to save the young man, but it was already too late. Subsequently, another youth even risked his own life by jumping into the river in a desperate attempt to rescue him.
Following the incident, an atmosphere of mourning has enveloped the entire region.
