I’m like a huge nerd in general. Like history, science, and literature are my THINGG. I like to research about prehistoric times the most though. So, now I’m gonna assign prehistoric animals to the guys.
Simon- Inostrancevia
This animal is apart of the group called gorgonopsias that ruled the Permian age as the largest of their group. This animal was also the largest land animal of the time. It’s also built different with sturdier limbs in bone density. This made it faster and more durable. It had super sized post canines and super long upper canines dealing a deadly blow to the necks of herbivores it outpaced. It could’ve used the smilidon method, biting the neck, or a bite and run tactic.
Literally Simon Riley. Guy is like HUGEE first of all, his bone density and limbs must be sturdier than most. Breaking bones and healing again and again could also cause them to become stronger over time. His way of taking enemies out also reminds me of the Ino. He’s got a plethora of ways to take them out, yet it’s smart and effective.
I know also have like two series I should be planning, making, revising, rewriting…🚶
With the Hive Scum class coming out soon for Darktide, and me looking into the class' details, an amusing thought crossed my mind.

I always thought that Gon and Killua had the same soulmate energy as jikook. Very very soulmate coded. I totally ship them. But their ending is a little tragic...I made an edit about them a few years back if anyone wanna watch:

It's because of him that I started editing 13 years ago. The edit I made about him was my first one and it blew up back then, becoming a famous edit in the hunterxhunter fandom.

Morning ⭐️! Hope you’re having a good weekend hun! The irony of you using the ‘I’m just a girl’ line made me chuckle.
So for those that are curious check below the cut for some nerdy non-kink talk. For everyone else, keep on scrolling.
A Computer Numerical Controlled (cnc) Machinist is someone that can program a machine to move along specific axis’ to, typically, cut a material into a certain shape.
I am trained to run a swiss style lathe and a “basic” lathe. If you want to see the exact type of machine I run in action, here is a link to youtube,
This is a very complex object and I typically don’t run anything like this, but this show cases the kinds of things I do.
But in the video you can see that either the material rotates at varying speeds or the tool as it comes into contact with the material and cuts it away. “Basic” lathes only operate on two axis’, X and Z. Mills typically use X, Z, Y and C.
My machine operates on two X’s, two Z’s two C’s and a B axis (there are actually two more but those other two aren’t relevant to programming). The programming can be very hard requiring more advanced maths like trigonometry, but I use a software that handles the more complex maths for me. Without that software it could take weeks or even months to write a “complex” part. For the really simplistic parts I do just write them out by hand because it can be faster and require less clean up of the software generated code.
Some of the parts I run are a huge pain in the ass because they have very tight tolerances (tolerance means it has a numerical range the dimension needs to be in for it to be a good part). That part I showed off the other day has a tolerance of -.000/+.0005 (this is in freedom units *cue eagle screech*) on certain dimensions. For reference to how small that is, paper is typically .003 thick (so I often deal with tolerances 1/6” of paper lol). It can be extremely stressful to maintain that tolerance because everything can affect the machine and throw that dimension off. The time of day, temperature, how long the machine has been running or sitting, the material itself can very, how new or old the tool cutting the material is, where I am at in the bar I’m cutting, how much coolant the machine has and many many other things.
The added fun to running those small parts, is that because they are so small, at times I can’t see what the machine is doing. Things get so close that there is no visibility without just willingly endangering myself. So all I can do is trust that I set everything right and didn’t forget anything before I press start.
Ok I’m done lol. My long time followers know I can rant, and I don’t get to talk about my work often so I’ll ramble forever if I can.
nothing really serious, but sometimes it bothers me seeing people spell katheryn howard’s name as any other variation of her name. its one of the only confirmed things we have from her, and i think my little autistic brain clings to it… uhm, but. yes, in most found dairies or whatever she used to write on, she signed her name as “katheryn” almost every time. i know in the tudor period, there was no right or wrong way, but she seemed to really enjoy the spelling “katheryn” over anything.
