“Jack! Have you seen my pens! I’m going to be late for my class if I don’t leave!” Hayden called out in a panic, pushing the contents of his dorm desk draws around searching for his inking pens, the ones he had been using for an art project in his class. They had been there just a half an hour ago when he had been sketching before he got up to get around for his class. His roommate, Jack, had a bit of a habit of taking his things and using them and then not putting them back. It got rather annoying and frustrating at times too, especially if it was his art supplies.

Learning to Live ( Nerd!Hiccup ) (Open Starter)
Another school year, a new school, and a terrified junior student. Henry Hamish Haddock had moved to Burgess this year just in time to start a school year at the public high school. Really the only reason he had left was because of his father's job. He didn't mind though, he hadn't really had friends there. He had been too focused on school to bother with being social. Having terrible anxiety with just about everything didn't help much either.
With a sigh Henry pushed up his too big sleeves on his hoodie and walked in. All his clothes were too big(he could thank his father for that. ), his hair was a mess, and his thick framed glasses slipped down his nose. He moved fast through the halls trying to keep out of the way and get to class as quick as possible.
Sadly though between not knowing the school and the massive amount of people clogging the hallways Henry was barely able to make it there on time.
Henry wasn't one to sit in the back of class. He had always been a star student, taking some of the hardest classes the schools had to offer. He had to do well, his education was his ticket to college. There was only so much a single father could do for his son, and even working two jobs it was going to be hard to get Henry through college. So Henry did his best to get straight A's so he could get the scholarships he needed to get into college. As he walked in he noticed the class was almost full, and only a few seats were left in a back. The first thing he felt was panic. He wasn't use to this, it didn't feel right to him. He was use to being in front! But he swallowed his panic and trudged to the back, setting his bag on his desk pulling out the books he needed. Forest green eyes glanced around the room, analyzing his surroundings. Everyone looked so much older. It must have been a senior dominated class.
