For @sweets-anoett @anoettdreamer for Homestuck Secret Santa 2025. I did two pieces, in case they didn't want xeno art, and this is the human-ish version.

I used this photo for reference, which may be impossible to find a non-pinterest source for, or at least I haven't found one yet. I Was looking for something playful and a bit goofy, and I like that this one showcases Nepeta's strength and calls back to her habit of alternating between riding Pounce de Leon and Pounce riding her. I gave them both several piercings and bodymods. I often depict Nepeta as having sanded or carved her horns into a more concave cat-ear shape on the front. She's also got a bellybutton ring and an ear gauge. Tavros, meanwhile, has a string of horn decorations that might be piercings (maybe drilled in?) or might be stick-ons, in addition to the double horn cuff, ear tag, and nose ring. Plus a couple more ear, nose, and eyebrow piercings between the two of them. I used pen, marker, gel-pen, and paint marker for this piece, and cleaned it up a bit in CSP afterwards. I like the texture that the red/brown copic added to the background. In person the jeans/text/earring/belt details colour is metallic green. but I think it looks fine flat, too.
