𝐇𝐄  𝐂𝐀𝐍’𝐓  𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏  𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅  𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌  𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒.  Man,  these  hunters  were  so  annoying.  After  losing  a  good  chunk  of  his  friends  and  someone  a  little  more,  as  well  as  almost  killing  Mira  for  what  she  had  done  (  or  at  least  trying  to  ),  the  smaller  (  by  an  inch  )  decided  to  try  a  different,  non  hostile  approach  to  this.

𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐀𝐆  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐆  𝐈𝐍  𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄  𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃  was  pulled  up,  Taejoon  digging  around  inside  of  it,  only  to  pull  out  the  cup  ramyeon—red.  The  one  with  Mira’s  face  on  it.  He  stares  at  it  in  his  hand  before  holding  it  out  to  her,  blue  gaze  finally  locking  on  her,  and  if  she  had  paid  attention,  she  could  see  that  he  looked  rather  tired.

“Tried  this  the  other  day.  For  something  with  your  face  on  it,  it’s  pretty  good.”

@bolinity's hands clenched into fists as he tried to contain his excitement. "You're a singer? That's amazing! I mean, I used to be a big time sports celeb AND a mover star myself — not at the same time though — but! Anyway! Do you get to do super cool things like travel around the world and do a bunch of things you don't normally get to do and eat a lot of amazing food from other places?" Bolin gasped loudly. "Ohhhh, man! I think the food part is my favorite thing about traveling! Food alone could probably motivate me to go back to a place!" It didn't seem like the earthbender took any breaths in between any of his sentences (he did aside from the giant gasp) as he rambled quickly somehow without tripping over any of his words. "Tell me: What's your favorite part about living in the spotlight?"

not all demons were monsters. not all. but the ones they were facing were, and rumi couldn't think straight. it was if gwi-ma managed to get into her head, the energy from the demons reaching out to her, binding her and even threatening to pull her down into the realm of the demons, but one person kept her grounded and far from the clutches of gwi-ma.

mira.

she winced, the blood continues pilling as she applied pressure to the wound. this wasn't how things were supposed to go. the honmoon did have a huge gap, of course, but it wasn't something they couldn't handle. so why -- why!? -- was this happening?

she noticed the demons getting closer; it was now or never. rumi shook her head, her hand raising to rest on top of mira's, her eyes then scanning around for zoey. "if you and zoey don't get out of here soon, you'll both die. and i can't --" she winced once more, coughing slightly, though her eyes glowed with determination.

𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙥 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚, 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙪𝙢𝙞 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚. mira didn’t deserve that—no matter how tired rumi is. she sighs, laying her head on her knees, which she has drawn up to her chest. rumi often considers how much better mira and zoey deserve from her, and yet she continues to fail them through lying by omission, isolating herself, and backing herself into corners only to lash out defensively.

— are you even listening?

“what?” rumi startles to attention, fixing mira with a remorseful look. “ugh, mira, i’m sorry,” she palms at her own face, frustrated. “i just… really haven’t been sleeping well. i try to relax, and my mind just starts racing.” she throws herself backward onto her bed and stares up at the ceiling, spread-eagled.

An equally tipsy yet woeful sigh. Yasuo's still nursing his drink with no intention of doing away with it yet, his other hand propping his head up as he looks her over mournfully.

“And  why  oh  why  would  I  do  that?”

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐏  𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐇  𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐍  𝐈𝐒  𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄  as  his  gaze  falls  upon  her,  arm  rested  against  the  door  frame,  free  hand  moving  to  brush  some  of  his  own  black  and  red  hair  from  his  face.  Soo-jin  shouldn’t  have  been  in  this  tower,  but  did  a  demon  really  need  an  invite?  Would  it  keep  them  on  edge  to  know  that  he  could  appear  at  any  given  moment?  Patterns  that  litter  his  body  shimmer  slightly,  almost  pulsating  against  the  flesh.  His  tongue  runs  along  his  lips  as  he  pushes  himself  off  the  frame,  stepping  towards  Mira,  not  worried  in  the  slightest  that  she  was  a  Hunter.

“You  girls…oooooh,  you  three  little  birds  are  so,  so…annoying.  A  thorn  in  his  side,  do  you  know  that?“  his  voice  was  like  a  darkened  coo—like  a  thick  syrup  that  was  far  too  rich,  far  too  thick—very  different  from  the  persona  he  put  on  for  his  fans,  where  he  seemed  like  a  relatively  normal  individual.  But  with  the  two  of  them  alone,  his  true  personality  seeped  through  the  cracks  to  reveal  something  much  more…Unhinged.

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐆  𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒  𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃  𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓,  pulling  her  closer  to  him  towering  over  her  and  looking  down  at  her  with  a  crazed,  predatory  look  in  his  eyes,  like  a  beast  ready  to  tear  flesh  from  bone.  Head  turns  slightly;  nose  pressed  against  the  flesh  just  under  where  he  held,  inhaling  deeply.  He does this  so  he  could  smell  the  meat,  the  blood,  the  bone.  DELICIOUS.

He was elated to know that his demons had managed to grab a member of HUNTR/X, only to pause in confusion at the woman before him. Flames rear back, his once smiling maw turning downward as he realized this is not the one he is looking for.

" What did you fools do? This isn't the one I spoke of. Are you deaf ?" he snarls. The demons remain frozen, their once joyous expressions to please their king melting off their features as horror creeps in. Before they could even think of coming up with some sort of plausible excuse, they were lifted into the air. Bodies trembling as a seemingly invisible hand held them a good five feet above Mira's head. There's a noise of reflection, the flames curling as the frown deepened, waiting for any sort of noise to stir out from the curved fangs of his minion. Any miserable excuse that could explain how they could possibly mix up two completely different women.

As soon as the minor demon inhaled to speak, their body curled, arms pressing into their side as a sickening noise was made. The sound of crushing, they inhale, turning into a gasp as they are slowly compressed. Until they erupted into ash, leaving nothing but a magenta soul in its wake. Which was instantly siphoned to Gwi-Mas' pyre. Before the others could say anything, they suffered the same fate, leaving nothing but darkened spots around Mira in the shape of their feet, where they were promptly terminated from existence for their incompetence.
