I heard that some of you wanted a peek at Nellie? That true?
In case you missed it, I found her at the local doll show last weekend! I brushed and be-ribboned her hair and wiped the dust off of her face before getting her dressed and displayed. She's happily sharing a shelf with Caroline.
Don't tell Nellie this but I probably might not ever have Samantha in my doll family. I adore her stories, but her collection largely does not appeal to me. Thus I can't really justify spending secondhand market prices for her stuff. But should she ever miraculously fall into my lap along with the few pieces of her collection that I do like... then yeah I'd let her stay, because how could I turn away an orphan like that?
