hi!!! I just saw your post on your oc Daiane and I love the amount of detail put into her. One question though, you wrote that she was selected for F1 Academy at 13, but the age requirement for the series is 16. Is this your canon divergence?

And to answer the age question, it is kind of canon divergence but based on something I could see happening sometime in the future. I really love F1 Academy and the light they have put on women in motosport, however the only nitpick I can find is the age of its drivers. Most of its pilots are around 18-19 and, considering the Academy is somehow an equivalent to F4 (whose age requirement is 14-15), that makes them much older than the male drivers competing in those levels. That could translate into taking longer to get the superlicense points and eventually race F1. So yeah, I see that a few years from now they could lower the age requirements to match F4 and make it more fair.
In the case of my stories' canon, F1 Academy's age requirement lowers to 14 (or turning 14 that season, which was Daiane's case)
