An old-ish sketch of Lazuli and Neile (please ignore that Azure, I renamed her afterwards).
They are my oldest OCs, though I only started using them for something just recently. I really liked their designs, even if I did change things over the years, and so I wanted to actually have them be relevant to my stories somehow.
And thus I made them connected to Pavlo here, one of my main characters.

Lazuli is now Pavlo's twin sister and Neile his crush/eventual partner. And Lazuli and Neile are of course ride-or-die besties, willing to help each other out with a murder if need be. Though I suppose I needn't mention that—after all, isn't that a given? Isn't that what friends are for? :)
Btw, they are:
Lazuli: cis woman, she/her, unlabeled (as of currently)
Neile: nonbinary, they/he, gay
Pavlo: transmasc, he/they, also gay
