#necromorph

I don't want to harp on this game too much but I still think whoever seriously put their hand up at a design meeting and said "we should have necromorphs use guns in Dead Space 3" should have been executed.

I like how different the feel of each Hunter in dead space 1 vs 2 feel. Like in dead space 1 it has all this hype around it, you get how it was made, and you get the monologue from the unitologist, then it actually shows up, you freeze it, then you burn it, whatever. It feels kinda introduced too early and used little. Then dead space 2 IMMEDIATELY drops the Ubermorph on you with NO previous sighting of it asides from when Isaac shuts off the power. As soon as you finish the tense eye section the Ubermorph comes outta the vent. In dead space 1 its "The Hunter was a regenerative tissue experiment made into a slasher necromorph by a unitologist" and then dead space 2 its "Oh the ubermorph? What about it, its always been here. You're telling me you don't know about the ubermorph?"
