It’s a bit after midnight and my grown up responsibilities for the week have been completed. Time to pay the Toll with this Imperial Oatmeal Stout from Raleigh Brewing. Roasty, smokey and chocolaty abounds. Finishes sweet but not in a sugary way. A burly but velvety nightcap.

Landed in NC and within about an hour I was perched at the @fontaflorabrew location in @optimisthallclt I dove right in with their Dandy farmhouse pale ale, a mixed culture light bodied pale that was a perfect start to my beer drinking adventures.
