#native superheroes

Writing a lot of Native superheroes because I want to give Indigenous people (especially young children) that “that me” feeling.

On a superhero kick recently, came up with the idea of a Catwoman/Black Cat type thief character who steals artifacts and culturally important items from museums and private collections, only to then try and send them back to the people they actually belong to.

I’m going to preface this by saying that I like Steve Rogers. I like him as a person. I like what he stands for, the rights of the American people, even if they go against the government.

All the dark edgy “deconstructions” of superheroes makes me want to make a universe that’s like “you know what? heroes are inherently good people. maybe complicated and messy, but still good.”

My dream is to someday own both issues of Tribal Force. The first Native American focused comic, that's unbearably difficult to come by. I want it.

Have the idea for open auditions to join my universes superhero team, with people showing off their skills and trying to prove why they should be included...
