Basket given to me by my uncle Sheamus, which belonged to his Cherokee great-grandfather.
Sheamus was getting evicted by a racist landlord, who disrespected his grandfather by filling the basket with dog treats when he left it on the porch (Sheamus does not have a dog.)
He was so upset from the insult, that he was going to burn the basket and all the sacred items inside, but when his landlord forbade him from using the burn pile for absolutely no reason, he decided to give it to me instead. He removed his stuff, so now it holds my war pipe, feathers, beads, and my homemade medicine.
