Anya kept walking the streets of New York. It was a hard city to navigate through, especially for someone who spent most of their life in a top secret base, but she knew more or less how. As part of basic training, she had learned full well how to work with a map. And it’s not as if the Petrelli home was a secret base or anything. Compared to Hydra, the Petrellis house was like it was a university with how obvious it is.
She was suppose to be there to bring one of the children of this residence in. A Monty Petrelli. Something about a healing power they wanted to study up close and personal. Normally, she would have just accepted this assignment with no issue, and actually be eager to be out and doing a mission. But this one stirred up emotions about Hydra that she hadn’t even been aware she had. Taking a child from their home against their will to be experimented on... something about that idea felt so familiar. And it angered her, far more than she thought it would. So much so that she decided that she was going to do more or less the opposite in hopes she could find someone to figure out what was wrong with her emotions... or her memories. She couldn’t tell which one was faulty at the moment.
And she was there. The home of the Petrelli family. She ran the names through her head once. At this point, it would be Angela, Nathan, possibly Peter, and then for sure Monty. And maybe a Claire.
The door opened with no resistance. They must be pretty sure in their security if they don’t even bother to lock the door. She knocked it gently as she walked in, hoping to give at least the appearance of attempting to show some common courtesy. She walked through the lower floor of the building, then moved up to the second floor. It was then that she met face to face with the once-dead ex-senator... was that his title? American politics confused her.
“Oh, uh... hi. I, uh... I knocked on the door and it just... opened.” Her Russian accent would be obvious through her awkward yet pleasant tone, hopefully friendly.

She’d wandered the streets of New York for hours, but you can only eat so many greasy hotdogs with extra onions and drink so many overpriced lattes before you begin to feel even more disgusted with yourself than when you started.
Sometimes Molly pretends that there aren’t bad things in the world, but living in your own bubble isn’t healthy and it isn’t real and no matter how many times she hides from her demons, they are still out there in the world causing chaos and she can’t deal with the fact that she cannot do something more than sit back and watch, not without putting herself and others in danger. But maybe she craves danger and maybe she craves pain. So she walks, and she runs. She screams in alleyways alone until she makes her way to his apartment. He was one she could always trust, even though he had made his mistakes he was still human. He had not turned into a shell of a man that sucks the life out of things and people to try and feel something....and Molly respects that. She loves that. And she needs that.
She slowly walks up to Nathan’s apartment and stands there for a few moments before the tears overcome her and she gently knocks on his door. “I’m going to need to kill him before I kill myself.” Again.

Claire watched her father intently for a moment or two as he said he had big news. “Please don’t say that we’re moving. It’s never big or exciting, and I’m getting really tired of leaving the few friends find before we move every time...” Did he think she was still too young to see him running away from his own shadow? Did he think she would be excited to move to the Ozarks or Ontario or Sacremento?
Claire sighed, shaking her head. “Dad, I can’t just leave again with no notice. I’m in high school now, I’m on the cheer squad. And tryouts were in the spring. They won’t have time to a get a new person trained in my absence.” Besides... she wanted to make sure that man she rescued from the train was okay. Was that too much to ask?

Whether it had been a day, a month, a year, a century, a millennium, Claire had no idea. Most of the time, a constant flow of drugs kept her unconscious. But, every once in a while, the drugs would wear down, and she’s get a few moments of consciousness before it was replaced and she would sink back into whatever drug-induced dream was next.
Just like what was happening now. So so she thought. Her eyes fluttered open as she felt something near her hand. If she was a little further along healing from the drugs, she’d undoubtedly realize that someone was messing with the restraints.
She wasn’t entirely sure how she had been caught, or where exactly she was, but she knew it had been Renautus, from the few moments she’d woken there before. Clearly, they couldn’t figure out a way to kill her for good. Or maybe they were trying to weaponize her power. She didn’t know. And part of her didn’t care, she just wanted to be let go. She needed to find her kids.
The drug wave was wearing off, and quickly. A few blinks were enough to bring a bit of clarity to her eyes. She must have been unplugged from the constant drugs. “What’s going on?” she asked, her words still a bit sleepy from the drugs.
She blinked again, and suddenly, she realized she saw her father there. Well, actually, both of them. “I’m still dreaming, aren’t I?” That was the only explanation she could think of.
