The children custody

Malcolm decided that he didn't want his grandchildren with his mother, he didn't trust her after everything that happened with his sons and didn't think she was a good mother, having children with different men. He decided that he wanted custody of them because in his mind, he had a more stable home than her and that's what the children needed. Cordelia was her lawyer and Freya believed in her cousin to win this one for her, for them, even if she was going against a lawyer that a Landgraab could pay.

Although, the results weren't what Freya was expecting. She lost the custody and her world just fell before her eyes. Her babies... she can't have them.

Freya just wanted to cry and maybe beg to Malcolm reconsider it, how can she live without seeing them everyday? It's her babies! How is this fair? When will this misfortune of her life have an ending?

When Freya called him cruel, Malcolm's guts did a twist inside his abdomen and it also hurt like she just pushed a knife inside it. Those words having a weight on him, the last thing he wanted to be it was a cruel person, like his mother was, but also he can't imagine losing any more family member, not after losing his sons. He'll do everything in his power to protect those kids, even if he has to be the bad guy now.

Cordelia went to the bar after her loss, she invited Freya to come with her, but she just wanted to go home and spend time with her kids as much as she can until they have to move to Malcolm's.

To Cordelia's surprise, certain good looking lawyer sat next to her, she hates the fact that he is charming, but also the most annoying man in the world. She saw him a few times before that and even went against him a couple of times and she lost all of them. She was so disappointed in herself for losing this again. Seeing her cousin's defeated face, she won't ever forget.

A few drinks and confessions on how attracted to each other they were....

Cordelia couldn't help but say fuck it, just this once, right? In a filthy bathroom of the bar. It's so not like her, but after her divorce, she promised herself to let herself live whatever she wanted to live and not restrain herself. Freya doesn't need to know she's betraying her like that. It's just this once. It won't hurt, right?
