No problem and I must completely agree; Victor Fries was always one of my favourite characters before,

but then Nathan Darrow had to go from derpy puppy

to bloody Arctic Wolf

and my mind goes

get ready, because this is one sad fictional man!

for as logical and calm as he appears most of the time, he is almost dangerously obsessive around you.

this is mainly because losing nora had been a huge blow for him. she made him feel alive, made him feel warm, and ever since her death, he's been cold and alone.

but then you came along, and that feeling came back, stronger than ever. it mystifies him sometimes. he lives in a cold, dark world, and you are the light shining through it. he can't imagine losing you, it would break him completely.

you're better than any experiment, frankly. he's more intrigued by your smile than any of his cryogenic research, and it actually sets him back somewhat because he's too busy staring at you to get anything done.

it's really lucky that you love him back, honestly, because he'd probably become some sort of stalker if you didn't. yandere who?

just watching you do everyday things is calming for him. it makes him feel normal.

he's very torn up about his physical state, and how it prevents him from doing certain things with you, like cuddling.

sometimes it'll get so bad that he'll try to convince you to leave, to find somebody else who can suit your needs better.

he cries every time he does it, actually. he doesn't want to lose you! that's one of the worst things he can think of! but... he really does want you to be happy. his low self-esteem does not help him here.

do not let him drive you away. that's the main thing here. he will be convinced that you're too good for him, but you know that if you leave, he'll just... that'll be it, really. and he would stalk you afterwards, just to make sure your new s/o is treating you right. (and even if they are, he'd find some imperfection in them and kill them for it.)

you're pretty much the only person he smiles at or initiates any physical contact with. he thinks you're the most beautiful person in the world.
