No worries! A fictive is just a subtype term for introject. I’m an introject in a system. A clockwork introject.

What does this mean? It means that, I as alter was formed of the fictional character clockwork. This does not make me clockwork but I’m pretty source connected so I do see myself as clockwork and draw myself when I draw clockwork! Some fictives also have memories as the character they formed of which I also have.

I do not talk about it a lot since it’s kind of a personal thing but a lot of people kept assuming I’m a “clockwork kin” which isn’t the case. I’m an introject in a system and that’s something completely unrelated to kinning

I’m so sick and tired of people saying this. Clockwork is a trauma oc clockwork was written by a traumatized child she quite literally is the writer himself. She was plain self insert and a lot of the stuff that happened in her story happened to dani in real life. Clockwork was coping oc. Saying you think her story sucks you are not only insulting Dani but a lot of people who find comfort in her. Clockwork has helped a lot of people with what she went through

I wanna start of with my first point.

Saying “I rewrote because her story made me uncomfortable with the brother part” is wrong. Again she was a trauma oc. She is not there for you to be rewritten or be formed into your own character

If you don’t like her story how it is. Leave it!

It’s not there for you to rewrite someone’s trauma oc!

She was written by a traumatized child to COPE!! Completely molding her into your character or rewriting her is plain disrespect

If you don’t like how she’s written and you rewrite her to make her more “likable” than you don’t like her you like your own version of her. Something the creator is uncomfortable and did not give you permission to do so

Especially leaving out the CSA and her brother part is where Dani said he was uncomfortable with people doing that because he described it as “important bits”

Getting a bit more personal as a survivor of CSA myself she is one of the only reparations we have and! Again it was based of the writers life taking it

Of course you can rewrite her but don’t completely change her character I’ve seen people leave out her stitches cause they were “unrealistic “ again this is very important part of her character and leaving it out is changing her character. Just don’t change her completely.

“But people can have hcs it doesn’t hurt anyone” I agree! As long as you aren’t changing anything major. But if yes then yes you are hurting the author.

I assume a lot of people are familiar with the Mr creepypasta “rewrite” of her where he left out the CSA part. Dani has expressed that he was uncomfortable with that

And if you come at me with the “oh but they don’t care about their characters anymore” kastoway and luciiid have both expressed they still have boundaries on them but you guys wouldn’t listen anyway

At the end of the day no one is forcing you to like her but for the love of however you believe In do not rewrite her cause you don’t like her it’s hurtful.

You take her how she is or you don’t.

But if you only like the rewrite of her that have Manor changes than you don’t actually like clockwork and you just like your version of her
