Snowbird for the Send Me a Character ask game please
First Impression: Dear God, I can't believe this character exists. Snowbird is a controversial character to say the least. Even for the eighties her writing leaves a lot of be desired.
Current Impression: I'm not going to say that Narya is one of my favorite Alpha Flight characters. However I do find some of her stories interesting. I think her relationship to her "godhood" and how willing she is to sacrifice quit literally anything for it makes for some very interesting character moments.
Favorite Moment: Alpha Flight #6, in which Narya spends almost five whole pages battling monster and we see none of it.
It's just several blank pages with some lettering. It's perfect...
Story Idea: Like I said how much Narya enjoys and strives to keep her Godhood is really interesting and could lend itself to some fun stories.
Unpopular opinion: Like Elizabeth I don't think Narya's popular enough to have an "unpopular" opinion on, so I think I'm going to skip this one.
Favorite Relationship: Narya's a pretty isolated character on Alpha Flight. I think her relationship to Elizabeth is pretty interesting. She's as much as Michael's daughter as Elizabeth is. However unlike Elizabeth, Michael did raise Narya and I think there's potential to flesh those parts of the characters out.
Favorite headcanon: Makes it a point to talk to as few people on the team as possible. She has a pretty complicated relationship with Sasquatch after she murdered him (so they try to stay as far away from each other as possible). Judd, nice enough guy, but he's got his own issues. Wants nothing to do with the Beaubier twins. Heather's a good leader, but conversations with her can be hard. She just tries to hang around Michael and get out of there as soon as possible.
