Lost Time Memory | Takane & Konoha
It was a strange feeling: waking up with a feeling of complete emptiness inside and absolutely no recollection of even the smallest thing. Although Konoha had absolutely nothing to compare it with and hence had no idea if this was not just how it was supposed to be, he had an uneasy feeling that something was terribly wrong. An empty existence, no past and no present, this boy only had a future to look at. His memories in their entirety literally consisted of nothing but those mere moments since he woke up in this unfamiliar place. Saying that he knew nothing however was not entirely true: while he had no inkling towards the full amount of his knowledge, he had discovered the ability to perform basic endeavours such as speaking, moving, recognising.
He wasn't entirely sure what this feeling was. A sort of ease in his chest when he would think that eventually he might be able to remember things, but at the same time a feeling of sadness at having forgotten in the first place. Who had he been before? Why had he forgotten everything? Would it even be a life worth returning to...? At any rate, asking himself such questions weren't going to do any good, because then he would never be any wiser. Outside the windows of this small room he could see countless of people streaming by, and maybe one of them had the answers he needed.
Sliding open the window, Konoha looked down - the height would be overwhelming to any ordinary person, but it didn't faze nor frighten him much. He would just have to get down there, right? Down where everyone was. A quick jump should suffice. Before he got that far however, the sound of a door opening quietly came from behind him, just as he had begun his climb to the window. Turning his head around, the pink eyes caught glimpse of a teenage girl with her raven hair tied into twin tails. Konoha kept his deadpan glare on her for quite some time before finally putting words to his confusion.
"... Who are you?"
