How would the Shimura family react??

I love "Inko is Nana's daughter" Headcanons/Aus but I must suggest:

"Former Pro-Hero Inko Shimura who quit the business after the horrific deaths of her family, and fears history repeating itself with her and Izuku."

Unlike her brother Kotaro; Inko didn't blame their mother for her decision to give them up. In her mind, it was the kinder option in a messed up situation. The Shimura siblings became estranged after Inko expressed her desire to follow Nana's footsteps.

Inko's Pro Hero name would be something like "Enigmagnet/Enigmagnetism" (mixture of "enigma" and "magnetism") as a reference to her Attraction Quirk. Turns out "attracting/affecting the gravity of small objects" really comes in handy when those "small objects" include things like bullets, broken wires, building rubble, and your teammates' equipment.

Inko was one of the heroes on the streets during a time when All Might was working in America. I can see the two having a teasing rivalry over social media, but were overall friendly with one other if they met in person.

Pro-Hero Enigmagnetism wasn't a fan of Endeavor though. She thought he was rude. And obsessive. She did babysit his kids once though after lil Toya tried to join his dad on a patrol. Adorable little guy made her think about having one of her own...

Inko was not present when her niece and nephew were born. Nao Shimura contacted her discretely around the time Tenko began asking difficult questions about his father's past. Inko was overjoyed to learn that she was an auntie! Especially since she herself was going to be a mom! The hope was that she and Kotaro could come to a compromise to allow their children to support one another.

But that reunion never came to pass...

Inko never knew the full details of what happened to her brother's family. All the authorities could tell her that some sort of... rot had decayed the family home from the inside out. Only fragments of dna could be identified as belonging to Kotaro, his wife Nao, Nao's parents, Hana, and a dog. Whereabouts of five your old Tenko was unknown but not optimistic.

There had been incidents like this before. A child is born with such a powerful Quirk that it acts like a bushfire to burn down the family tree that birthed it. The lead detective on the case determined that either Tenko or Hana had manifested their Quirk for the first time and lost control of it - destroying the entire Shimura family in the process.

Inko was left in a fugue state.

Did... did her niece or nephew inherit a power her mother had harnessed long ago? A power not meant for them? Would her own baby be born with this darkness? She secretly wished that her child would have that 1-in-5 chance of never developing such a power.

The Pro-Hero Enigmagnetism would soon announce her official retirement; claiming that she simply wanted to "settle down" before she was too weary and injured to enjoy it.

In reality; Inko Shimura Midoriya (she did not feel worthy of her birth name) had become ill at the very thought of her career. She could no longer stomach the violence, the tragedy, the lack of progress. She just hoped that pure-hearted heroes like All-Might could make the world safer when she couldn't.

Izuku was born a carbon-copy of his mother. Except with one major difference; a double jointed pinkie toe that would be detected around his fifth birthday. The same age little Tenko had been when his own Quirk supposedly manifested...

Inko sobbed. Her wish had come true. But Izuku was his mother's child, and like her he poured his heart and soul into the dream of becoming a Hero. She cried, not only because her son was Quirkless in a world that valued power above all else, but because she saw the beginning of a cycle she dare not repeat. She begged him to be anything; a doctor, a journalist, a Quirk Specialist even, just not a Hero.

Not like Her Nana All Might.

Their bodies could be breaking down and they will still find a way to reach for their loved ones.
