It's curious, how some people seem surprised that besides being a doll maker, I'm also a hardcore doll collector. I've been for many years now, and I admire a lot of makers and sculptors. For me, collectionism is a really important part of why I ended being a maker myself. And I get all excited about my newer acquisitions. I must confess I'm becoming pickier with time, tho, and my finances don't allow me to own as many dolls as I would like (basically, I have to sell dolls in order to buy new ones). But I still enjoy the hobby, the doll meetings and the art of other sculptors as well.
