project i worked on today: university au.

total project's word count: tbc (i still need to edit stuff).

today was a very productive day both not as word count lol.

I finally finished redoing the structure for the university au (the nanowrimo 2022 project). I had about 30k already written but I didn't like where the story was going and I was forcing some stuff that wasn't working at all. so today I fixed it!! I already started writing some of the new stuff but there is still so much to rewrite. I am excited though.

the other thing that I did was working on the world building for the bad blood au. I think I have the base ready but there are many details that I still need to think through before I can begin writing it.

I am happy with today, yay.

day four and five are non existent because life happened. but I am back on track (i hope so). c:<

I finished the fic!!! the fluff cc is done!! I just need to edit it and it will be ready for publishing!!

I am happy in the way it came out in the end. I don't think the editing process will be hard. So expect more updates on the other projects for the following days!! c:

“Jagi, Sungie. I had never felt the urge to care for someone like I do with you. And even though you don’t feel like you help me, you do. You are not upfront like Chan hyung. But you are what I need. Your actions, your advice, your jokes. And I… I am so bad at this, but I… I feel for you. More than I allowed myself to.” Jisung finally rose from the floor and sat next to the older. Suddenly the distance between them was unbearable. Minho held his hands tighter. “So, Han Jisung, I need you to be more clear about what you mean by one-sided.”

I don't have much to say today lol. I started writing really late. I am so tired, it was a really busy day. but I wrote something and that still counts <3

I had been working on this fic for almost a year now. It is not that complex or difficult or anything but life happens and procrastinations always seems to win.

but yeah, it is a 3 + 1 one shot. The first two part are already done, and today I finished the third part!! Each one is about 3k each, so you can see that I already had some stuff written down. But I am glad I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!

I think in two days I can finish it and they I will take a break from this one and start editing!!

With his eyes closed, he let himself accept the obvious for once. He was in love with Han Jisung. He accepted it but only for however long the younger would decide to keep his arms around him.

hello!! last year I did updates on here how my journey through nanowrimo was going, and I am planning on doing them again!! but first I have an update first:

I am doing more than one project.

last year I got stock on the plot and I realized I needed to change the entire structure of the text for it to work. And I didn't want to work through that while maintaining the writing rhythm. So, I stopped all together. This year, I have many projects to work on, so if I get stock, I will move to the next one.

so, basically, the goal is to write 50,000 words between all of the projects by the end of the month.

the projects are (this is how I will be referring to them. those are no the title lol):

college au (same project as last year, 26.6k so far.).

fluff cc (canon compliant, 3+1 format, almost finished, 7.9k so far).

bad blood au (inspired by the Taylor Swift music video. I am still working on world building).

lost prince au (an event project. deadline until feb 2024. world building).

(all projects share the same pairing: han jisung and lee minho from stray kids♡).

I've only done my first Nano last year and Camp Nano this year and have already seen wild amounts of improvement in my pacing. Something about writing 50,000 words in a month while also working a full time job and being a full time partner really puts writing into perspective.

Did I have any free time between my responsibilities? Absolutely not. Is it the best writing in the world? Hell no! Did I force myself out of writers block on multiple occasions? Yes, yes I did.

Mille’s eyes glazed over on their image within the gem. Judith was told to sit still a while as Chit tore through layer after layer of the vines with his spear. He grunted with each long swing. Bundles of refuse were tossed away by his tail after each slice, and yet nothing visibly changed even as the pile of broken vines and flowers grew ever higher. Judith watched him. She watched and waited, arms bound around her legs, packs left at her side that she leaned on. The bright, indomitable person she recalled had become so lost, so empty. Judith’s eyes glanced back to the gem, their image lining up with Mille’s own tearful reflection. Breath became needles and sight clouded over as Mille grabbed the device and tossed it to the floor. Cracks lengthened and Judith’s lips opened up with no sound before there was nothing left but green tinted shards.

Sci-fi/fantasy writer/artist. I don't know what to put here. I’m in my 30s, I’ve lurked on tumblr forever but only recently started this blog, which so far is 10% me talking vaguely about writing and 90% chaotic reblogs. ADHD/bi disaster/parent/cat person.

-what kind of stories do you like to read?-

imaginative, stuff that makes you think, stories that feel like myths, and whatever the opposite of grimdark is (hope punk?)... I'm a sucker for time travel, amnesia tropes, coffee shops, and stories where the animals all live.

Door #1

Space mom (working title)

About a single mom having adventures on a space station, with a dash of political intrigue and a little bit of romance. Working on editing/rewriting the first draft from a prior nano which was an unreadable trash fire.

Door #2 

Cat tow service 

A webcomic about magical anthropomorphic cats towing cars in the desert. Or maybe the jungle. Still working on plot, but I might do some sketches. (Wait, am I a furry?)

Door #3 (untitled)

A guy tries to help his boss catch a serial killer. Also there's werewolves and UFOs. I might pants my way through the first draft of this one if April isn't too hectic.
