Urtica dioica. This is a small area of the meristem, a dense jungle of undergrowth, on the very top of a perennial plant that was a big part of my childhood. Mostly combating them when walking in the woods with my dog in the pacific northwest. When it comes to Killifish there are quite a few region variants of the same species, blessing them with lengthy Latin names to include collection information. Region variants are common in many species of fish, particularly widespread species like Killifish. Bettas are another species that have developed region variants such as Imbellis which can vary in appearance depending on what part of Thailand it is collected from. Fundulopanchax Sjoestedti Funge is one of the bigger species of Killifish with some domestic bred species reaching nearly 13cm, but are rarely bigger than 10cm in the wild.
