Saturday at #SteelCityCon was fantastic. Got to spend "quality" time with #LittleBrother & meet actors I've admired for decades. First, the lovely #HeatherLangenkamp . While I (typically) rattled off a related anecdote*, she remained a total pro, yet completely invested in the conversation. Obviously famous for her groundbreaking role as #FinalGirl #NancyThompson in #ANightmareOnElmStreet and beyond, her career has actually been quite varied. And although the queer horror fans gravitate more towards the second entry in that franchise...from which she is absent...Heather gave us the classic #TonyaAndNancyTheInsideStory which is practically a later generation's #WhateverHappenedToBabyJane . (Also, I am certain that without that telefilm's influence, #ITonya would never have been made, so Heather is indirectly responsible for Oscar-nom/won performances from #MargotRobbie and @allisonbjanney . Don't @ me.) PLUS she played >SPOILER ALERT!< the adult daughter of genre legend #BarbaraSteele in #TheButterflyRoom ; so I still think she has you one-upped, @markpattonnoes2 .
