What could have happened and is there any way possible she's still alive?

When you lay these cards out in order, what stands out most to me is that this doesn’t look like one sudden event that came out of nowhere. It reads more like a situation that built up over time, the tone of the situation changed, and then it just goes quiet. This all starts with the Three of Pentacles, and that immediately tells me that this wasn’t exactly isolated. This points to a setting where people interact. Like work, school, community, and/or somewhere structured like a building/house. The cards suggest to me that there were other people around, or at the very least, this wasn’t happening in a vacuum. Whatever began here started in a place where connections and interactions etc. were already established beforehand.

Then we have the Page of Cups, and that’s where the energy gets lighter, but not in a way that feels entirely safe. This card can point to someone younger, or just someone more emotionally open and more impressionable. It can also show a situation that didn’t look serious at first. It's something that seems so small. A conversation, an interaction, and/or a feeling that didn’t raise alarms right away. This was the kind of thing that, if you were watching it happen, you might not even think twice about.

That’s exactly what makes the next cards matter a lot.

The Ten of Cups reversed is where things start to crack. That card upright is the picture of emotional security. Think about a home, stability, and things being “right.” Reversed, it’s that image falling apart completely. So whatever started small didn’t stay small. It disrupted something that should’ve been stable. That could be a home environment, a relationship dynamic, or just a general sense of emotional safety. Either way, something triggered something, and once it did, it didn't just go away.

Now right after that, you’ve got the Ace of Cups, and that’s where this story takes a turn people don’t always expect. Instead of everything just ending when things totally fall apart, something new begins... Emotionally, something switches direction. That could be a new attachment, a new focus, or a situation that pulls someone away from where they were before. It’s not clean. It’s not “this ended and that was it.” It’s more like one thing broke, and something else took its place that no one noticed.

That takes us right to the Hermit.

This is where everything goes silent. This energy is so withdrawn and isolated. Whether that’s by choice or circumstance, the effect is the same... distance. Communication and visibility drops off. It gets hard to see what’s going on, and even harder to reach whoever is at the center of it.

By the time you get to the Five of Cups, you’re not looking at an active situation anymore... you’re looking at the aftermath of it. Loss, grief, and unanswered questions are present. That feeling of something being gone but not totally understood. It’s definitely not closure. It’s such heavy a emotional feeling that just sits there because nothing ever gets resolved.

So when I ask how it leads to someone going missing, the answer in these cards isn’t “one thing happened and that was it.” It’s a chain reaction. Something starts in a shared environment, it seems small at first, but then disrupts something important. Out of that disruption comes a new emotional situation, and that turn leads into withdrawal. Once that withdrawal happens, everything after it is silence and loss.

It's such a quiet energy... Sometimes the quiet is what makes it harder to understand.
