Marvel fans get on my nerves. The movies aren't the comics! So stop making a fuss about comic book canon whenever there are romances or ambiguous relationships!

People ship Namor and Shuri—who have a canonical subtextual romance—and others chime in to remind everyone that Namor is in love with someone else in the comics and supposedly should be in future movies! Nobody cares, and no, that clearly isn't going to happen.

People ship Silver Surfer & the Human Torch, and others point out that Silver Surfer is supposed to be married—treating it as if that were movie canon, when it isn't anymore from what we know!

Then there’s Bob and Yelena: people use Yelena’s unconfirmed comic-book sexuality to rule out the relationship. And besides, even if Yelena were asexual and aromantic, those exist on a spectrum, and she could still be in a relationship regardless.

I can't take it anymore.
