finally finished namib after like, 4 months. ryeoun never misses when it comes to kdramas for me (somehow, he always chooses genres thats up my alley). i kinda get why people had conflicting opinions about the idol's ending. but as someone who has read up a lot about the kpop industry over the years, i dont mind the ending that much. if it had been realistic though, the idol's single might have ended up around somewhere in the 500 song rankings, as the competition is fierce for indie singers. but that is extremely good btw, dont get me wrong. its just so many that are trying to reach the same dream and its only a certain few that gets through it.

i haven't seen idol i yet but i get the feeling if you like that oneโone certainly would like namib too. its about a rookie idol and a good depiction of what idol life can be like. it has some dark themes, so be aware of those before watching. idol i is on my to watch list but i'm horrible at catching up. ๐ญ
