Do your homework about the company you are applying to. Be proactive. Know what they do, what their business is, who their customers are. Figure out how to include some of what you learn in the interview so they know that you have researched the company.
Leverage any contacts you may have with the company. Ask about the interview process, what to expect, and determine what the company looks for in a strong candidate. Find out if there are any current areas of focus for the company (ie. increasing customer satisfaction, incorporating sustainable initiatives, or improving quality).
Be prepared with questions! Donât just answer their questions, but also have a set of questions that demonstrate your interest in the company and job.
Be aware of your social media presence. If you are seriously being considered for the job, assume that they will check your social media platforms. Make sure you are representing yourself well. #delete
