Today I witnessed the Galup VR experience at Boola Bardip. I felt it was important to get educated on local boodja, especially during NAIDOC Week. I would strongly recommend the film as an important, beautiful, and heart-breaking truth-telling meeting. It's free until the 17th of July. š±šš± The irony was that I noticed Woodside's name emblazoned on the side of the building when Woodside is currently building the Burrup Hub, Australia's most polluting fossil fuel project on unceded land that will endanger the sacred Murujuga rock art. Itās hard getting up and doing something different; our culture loves to tear people down. Itās hard showing up for something more than ourselves and itās hard to choose community; weāve been taught to isolate, go it alone, and suffer in silence. Itās hard. Change is hard.
