Tangiers in an Egyptian bowl?!?
Those of you who pay attention to my hookah habits know that when it comes to the Egyptian bowl, I'm not a fan. The only reason I keep one handy is to smoke Nahkla Double Apple because it doesn't work that well for me in a phunnel bowl since it is a dryer shisha. But recently I came across a way that described how to smoke Tangiers out of an Egyptian bowl. And fun fact if you guys didn't know because I didn't either. While the Tangiers phunnel bowl was made for Tangiers shisha, the shisha was around before the bowl was made and this was originally how Tangiers was smoked. It's actually pretty simple. It's just two steps. This is the first step. Between the holes in the bottom of the bowl and the rim, dense pack your Tangiers. In this case I used Cane Mint.
Step two is fluff packing the rest of your shisha in the center. This is suppose to work with Tangiers, however, I haven't tried that yet. This time I, of course, used some Nakhla Double Apple.
It worked out amazing. Both flavors came through perfectly. I will definitely be using this method more often when mixing flavors.
