Had my appointment with Radiation guy early this morning in Nags Head, so Sixx came with me and after I was done we grabbed some lattes and went shopping! We started at Home Goods, but we were both like “this store is boring” so I switched gears and took her to my favorite thrift and consignment stores. Everyone we went into she was all “oh my gawd” or “I LOVE this store!” So this Mama is feeling pretty sassy knowing I have now successfully passed on my love of bargain hunting to ALL THREE of my daughters!!! They all love things with character, or things with a story, things that look like they’ve lived a life. It just warmed my wittle heart.
So what did we find? A $7 shirt for her, some soap that smells like the ocean for me, a table runner for the Airbnb, a plushie for the boy, and then we went to lunch. I think that was the most expensive buy of the day. Of course, I’ve not received my doctor’s bill yet 🙄
