Time for the march edition of my monthly detailed background challenge! This month was @Rabbitdoesarts's turn to pick and thusly, I present The Heart of Naelus from the Naelus, the Isle of Mist roleplay! I am honestly really proud of how this came out! Speaking of people's characters!

So for the first day of drawtober I chose the prompts "Home" and "Rainbow." I had the idea to draw some of the characters from the Naelus game, since the plot of that game involved the extinct creatures coming together to protect their last sanctuary from destruction, and in the process gaining a closer connection to that home and building a sense of pride in the fact that they'd done something tangible to earn their place in it. For "rainbow" I decided to put the characters in the Crystal Crags, a part of the island made up of rocking cliffs and terraces covered in multicolored gemstones. Characters belong to me, @rabbitthewriter and @tigerwriter

I definitely won't make all or even most of my drawings for the month this complicated, ahaha, but it's Sunday and I had some time, so I figured why not start with a bang!
