hello my dears... daddy long legs with... short legs???
now this is something i honestly did not know about until i saw this guy on the forest floor. i was immediately intrigued by its appearance. it has eight legs but it didnt resemble a spider!
this guy is a daddy long legs (harvestman) that belongs to the family Sandokanidae
harvestmen from this family have a body size of 1cm or less (very tiny!) and are usually amber coloured with dark brown patterns
they are also recognised by their short and stumpy legs, despite being a "daddy long legs"
definitely a very surreal creature to find considering i had no prior knowledge of it
