Ever since I saw that poll about Lando and Oscar as flowers, I’ve been working on my own version of f1 drivers as flowers. I’ve chosen the flowers based on what they represent, how they match each driver’s personality and a little bit based on vibes. Most of the flower research is based on Victorian Floriography and some modern flower meanings.
I also want to thank Hemera @814sun for listening to me yap about this, and for their invaluable feedback and suggestions.

The expression on the screen turned into a surprised one as the Companion turned around, taking a bit before they noticed a small orange creature approaching them. Intrigued, the Companion crouched down.
– Oh, hi there, little one! I'm LuMin, who are you? I don't remember seeing you around. Where did you come from? – smiling, the Companion slightly tilted their head.
– Mrrrph. – the cat sat down, closing its eyes. Suddenly, a small drone flew out of its backpack, which made LuMin flinch a bit, but she managed to keep her balance. For a couple of seconds, the Companion just stared at the drone, then looked back at the cat.
– Do you... – the Companion stuttered a bit as the drone started making sounds alongside it. – ...need anything? – the dark-green camera turned to the drone again. LuMin took some time to realize that, maybe, the drone was translating his words to the orange creature. He decided to simply ignore the drone for now. That's when the drone turned to the cat and, after a couple of seconds, turned back around and flew to the Companion instead, slightly bobbing in the air.
– Oh? – Surprised, LuMin reached out as an object started to form in front of her. – What's this? – Before looking at the thing, LuMin glanced at the drone and the cat. Then the camera lowered.
LuMin froze, trying to keep her expression neutral. Their initial grip on the picture now changed into a gentle hold. He looked away.
– W-where did you get this?.. – lowering his hands, the Companion quietly asked the two, but didn't get an answer.
– Mrraow! – the cat leaned forward as if trying to say something. LuMin stayed silent for a while, looking at the picture again. When he finally noticed the symbols on the back of it, he realized what the creature was trying to ask. But why would it need to know that?
Looking at the cat carefully this time, LuMin realized what the colourful spots on its sides were. Badges. Some of them LuMin recognized immediately – the red one with a yellow heart and the white one. With the Outsiders' symbol.
– So... so Zbaltazar sent you?.. – the screen showed a sad smile, – ...okay. The first two symbols are the name of the street and the dots are the numbers of the floor and the door you need. – LuMin returned the photo, watching as it disappeared in front of the drone. – But you won't be able to get there right now. Good luck. – the Companion stood up, its emotion unchanged.
– Mrrrrr~ – the cat also stood up and walked closer, rubbing against the Companion's legs. LuMin seemed quite surprised as she looked down, but her screen quickly displayed a heart and she let out a quiet "awwwww" as she watched the creature running away.
But, to be honest, his worry didn't go anywhere. Something... something felt off. Maybe he should check later.
Drunk and post the Armageddon-not, Aziraphale ponders if he and Crowley had never met in Eden. His darling demon, however, doesn't care much for hypotheticals.- This little AU explores the idea of 'what if Aziraphale and Crowley didn't meet in Eden?' It's Inspired by this comic by @hg-aneh and is a very short Crowley x Aziraphale fanfic. It doesn't really have an ending and it was originally in my oneshots book for these two. But it was three parts and over 10k words- so I decided to make it into its own book. Enjoy!

Drylan prompt - One (or both!) of them overhear the famed conversation in Cabin 7.
"I think it's pretty obvious that Ryan would be at the top of the list."
A voice cut through the quiet evening, barely heard over the sound of the admittedly quiet volume of the podcast he was listening to, and Ryan tilted his head curiously, pulling an earbud out to better hear. Was someone talking about him? Most of the campers were either in the lodge with Abi or exploring the woods with Jacob before lunch. But cabin seven had the lights on, and he could see movement inside. He wasn't the type to eavesdrop, but his curiosity was piqued, and they were talking about him, so he figured it was okay.
"I mean, Ryan's cute, but I would put Emma on top." Another voice chimed in. What were they talking about?
That comment evoked a very vocal debate among the group of girls in the cabin, and it didn't take long before Ryan figured out just what this list was. Who's hot and who's not out of the counselors. Ryan didn't think there was anything extraordinary about him, but his name came up more than any of the others, with even Kaitlyn chiming in that she would put him on top. He'd be lying if he said otherwise, but it was a massive boost to his ego.
He was still thinking about it hours later. All the campers were down at the lake, and Dylan was helping him dig out the old volleyball net for some of the older kids to play. Something must have been showing on his face, but Dylan kept giving him these looks from the corner of his eye, and he couldn't stay quiet any longer. "Okay, what?"
Dylan hummed softly, a faux innocent look on his face. "Oh nothing. I was just thinking that there was something different about you today. You've got this... softer edge to you." His tone was casual, nonchalant. "I wasn't going to say anything, but since you asked, I gotta know... Did something happen? Like a love confession perhaps? It's way too early in the summer for you to be breaking hearts."
Ryan shook his head, quick to shut that idea down. "No, nothing like that. Just something I overheard earlier." He really didn't want to elaborate.
"From the girls in cabin 7? Kaitlyn tells me that they're all just a bunch of gossips."
Dylan was looking at him expectantly, waiting for him to agree. Of course he knew that Ryan was around that cabin earlier. They were supposed to be looking for the stray equipment that somehow always gets hid behind the cabins together. But Dylan had been pulled away before then, thus why Ryan was alone earlier. There was no point in denying it, and he found he didn't really want to.
"It's nothing really. They were just talking about which of us counselors they thought were hot or not." That got him a small laugh, which encouraged him to continue. "I'm at the top apparently, but I don't really know why."
"Seriously?" Dylan raised an eyebrow in disbelief, turning to face him fully. "Uh, hello? Have you seen you? You'd definitely be at the top of my who's hot list."
Ryan couldn't tell if he was being serious or not, he never could with Dylan, but he could feel his face heating up regardless. He was able to keep his cool though, not letting Dylan know how he was really feeling. "Is that so?"
Dylan nodded eagerly, a grin pulling at his lips. "Oh 100%! Who'd be at the top of yours?"
There was that casual nonchalance again, but if Ryan looked closely, he could see that he was eager to know. Who would be at the top of his list? Ryan wasn't sure, but before he could say as much, Jacob was once again calling for Dylan to come help him out again.
That resulted in a long, drawn out sigh, before Dylan gave a little, two-finger wave as he backed away. He made it all of two steps before his feet got tangled in some spare rope, and he flailed as he fell backwards. It was with minimal struggling that he was able to pull himself back to his feet, his face red. "You didn't see that!" He quickly pointed a finger at Ryan before spinning and sprinting off.
Ryan had to bite his lip to stop himself from grinning in amusement. How cute... It was silly, and a little endearing, but there was just something about Dylan that was interesting and pulled him in. He was looking forward to getting to know him more over the next two months, and if he decided to put him on the top of his own 'who's hot' list on that day, then nobody needed to know but him.

I don't think this is fog, Mr. Weatherman, and if it is it must be from hell itself.
It's summer, Mr. Weatherman, it's not cold enough for fog. Yet this lingers all day and into the night, and I cannot see the blue of the sky. Is it overcast, Mr. Weatherman? I don't think so, that doesn't sound right.
It hurts my eyes to be outside, sir. It hurts to breathe. I can smell it, see, even through this mask that I now need in more ways than one. It's a good thing schools aren't open, Mr. Weatherman, I walk to lunch. Could you imagine walking in this?
Ours is not the only place that has it. It's here, up and down the coast, miles and miles of gray that tastes acrid, like pain and sorrow in a chalky film. How are the others, sir? Are they alright?
It is only a small comfort that the sky is gray and not red. I know there are other places, other places not so far away, where the sky is red and the world is ending. I could drive there, sir, if I could drive. It would not take long.
Have you seen the maps? The maps of red dots, littered up and down the stretch if land that is home? Each dot a spot of hell, all on its own. I see the dots, and it feels like there's more of them every day.
They speak of four horsemen. War everywhere here, in the people we should be able to trust but we cannot because they are cruel. Pestilence has made himself known, and wanders the world now as people refuse to hide their faces in a mask. Famine is subtle, but has always been here, as the people who work 3 jobs but still cannot buy enough food will tell you. Death lurks behind them all, claiming one by one.
But is that all, sir, do you think? For this is not the result of any of those horseriders. Perhaps this is something else. Maybe there are more riders, and we simply never bothered to name them.
Fire seems a good name for a rider.
It's foggy, you say, Mr. Weatherman? Tell me, is it the fog in the sky, or the fog in your eyes? Can you not see because you refuse? Refuse to see the suffering like so many others do as they look away?
Or maybe, you're like the rest of us, and cannot see because your eyes are full of smoke.
