i don't know if this counts as a wisdom but one time i was talking to a friend about the meaning of life (we were a bit drunk) and when i said "and what if there's no meaning in anything?" she tilted her head and went "then you go and find some" like it was the most obvious thing in the world and that'll always stick with me i think
Character: Katara
I really love this exchange!
Share some wisdom and Iâll tell you which character is most likely to give that advice.
A/N: Holiday season is over and, hopefully, I'll have a bit more time for writing! Thank you so much to @myreygn for her kind support ââš I hope this meets your expectations and you enjoy it!
Just as a little disclaimer, this fic is a little different from what you usually see in this blog! So please, have that in mind before readind :)
Summary: Matsukawa Issei is learning how to be in a relationship and all that it entails, so when his lover is having a hard time, what will Matsukawa do?
Words: 3,519
Matsukawa never thought that someone else's pain would hurt him.
He had made very strong connections with his volleyball team in high school, and even after several years he continued to communicate with them. The joys of his friends made him happy, but if he was honest, he forgot about them after a few weeks.
Their sadness made him sad too⊠for only a couple days. No foreign emotion was enough to affect him in his daily life. Why would he worry day and night about someone else's problems? Why would he feel his heart swell with happiness upon receiving good news about someone else's situation? Why would he get mad at someone else's frustrations? He didn't understand it and thought he never would... until he met Kuroo Tetsurou.
Well, until he really met him, because he already knew him. He knew who he was and how good he was at volleyball. He knew about his high school team and his stats, but after highschool, he had the opportunity to meet Kuroo Tetsurou not as another player who was competing against Aoba Johsai to be the best team in Japan, but as someone who made his stomach feel ticklish.
Someone who made his cheeks flush like a kid when he spoke too close to his ear. Someone he looked forward to seeing every day. Someone he eventually learned to call boyfriend and someone who taught him that you can really feel another person's emotions as if they were your own and if he was being honest, that was the most strange thing of all.Â
Matsukawa still wasnât used to it and at first he hated how deeply invested he felt in Kurooâs personal feelings. He felt suffocated and almost broke his relationship with Kuroo, but the love he felt for him was definitely bigger than all those emotions that made his heart clench.
However, Matsukawa has been tested again. Kuroo and himself had been riding a roller coaster of emotions for several days now: in addition to finals that always felt like a noose around their necks and volleyball practices that they simply couldn't stop doing, Kuroo's family had been through a situation in relation to his grandfather going to the hospital that had scared them excessively.
Matsukawa had felt his hands tremble seeing Kuroo in such anguish, and the anxiety within his heart made him want to crawl out of his skin. He had mentally exhausted himself trying to find a way to convince Kuroo that his grandfather would be fine, though he never thought it could be so hard.Â
In the end, Kurooâs grandfather was fine and stable and he was going to be out of the hospital later that week. Matsukawa had felt exhaustion after hearing the news, relief rushing through his body leaving him a little dizzy and even a little hungry. He couldnât focus on the rest of his classes that day and the way back home was a blur as he kept falling asleep on the train. He simply wanted to collapse in bed and sleep for four years straight, but there was just something that kept him wide awake.
âAre you on your way?â A charming chuckle from the other side of the phone made his heart jump as he stepped out of his shoes.
âThis is the third time you call in one hour,â Kuroo said and Matsukawa smiled brightly. âI am on my way. Iâll be there in five or less.â
âGreat. Iâll be waiting,â he promised, throwing his backpack somewhere, not wanting to know about school for the rest of the day and the weekend.Â
âSure you will,â Kuroo chuckled again. âIâll see you soon. Bye.â
He hung up and Matsukawa threw his phone onto his bed to take a quick shower before Kuroo arrived. Excitement rushed through him. He and Kuroo would spend the weekend together at Matsukawa's house, ('My parents are going on vacation for a few days. Let's relax together at my place, okay?' 'Hmm? Do you want to assault me?' 'Huh? Was I too obvious?â), Mattsun wanted so badly to just hang out with Kuroo after the stressful week they had been through.
Besides, he could tell that Kuroo hadn't been sleeping well. The circles under his eyes were very deep and his skin lacked color. He knew that Kuroo had it even worse than him, so he couldn't help but worry about his health and hoped that Kuroo could rest together with him, he deserved it, after all.Â
âWelcome to my house, handsome,â Matsukawa said as soon as he opened the door to Kuroo. âDid you miss me on your way here?â
Kuroo laughed softly, stepping in and barely having time to take off his shoes before Matsukawa was stealing kisses to his lips. âI couldnât miss you much with you calling every five minutes, you know?â He said, laughing and pushing Matsukawa when he squeezed his side playfully.Â
âWell, I was calling you because I missed you, duh.â
Kuroo rolled his eyes fondly and his backpack was removed from his shoulder, along with his jacket, with a swift move before Matsukawa gently cupped his face between his slightly cold hands. Kuroo didnât react to the coldness, his cheeks were even more cold and Issei gently caressed his cheekbones to help them warm up. Kuroo sighed, a little smile adorning his features. He leaned into the gentle touch, his body moving closer to Matsukawaâs.Â
Matsukawa scanned Kurooâs face. His handsome boyfriend really looked tired, shadows under his eyes, droopy eyelids and slow blinks, even his breathing was slow and even as if he could fall asleep at any second.Â
âDid you have any sleep?â He asked gently, pressing a kiss to Kurooâs forehead.Â
Kuroo closed his eyes, humming softly. âA bit,â he said, yawning right after. âI might need more sleep, though.â
Matsukawa smiled and nodded, âme too. You can shower if you want, Iâll make you some tea.â
Kuroo whined, âthat sounds good, but I canât walk, Iâm too tired,â he said, leaning his full weight against Matsukawa, making him gasp and quickly wrap his arms around Kurooâs waist. âI wish I had a boyfriend who could take me- ack! W-Wait, not pick me, just take me- Issei!â
Matsukawa simply laughed as he easily threw Kuroo over his shoulder. Kuroo, with his long legs and arms, didn't know what to do besides gripping Matsukawaâs clothes, holding for dear life as Matsukawa walked him to the bathroom. Once there, he placed Kuroo back on his feet.
âYou are a menace! Who told you to- ahahaha! That tihihickles!â Sweet, uncontrollable giggles filled Matsukawaâs ears as his hands sneaked under Kurooâs shirt, fingertips lightly tracing the soft and warm skin of his sides. Kuroo squirmed and jolted when he felt the teasing touch climbing to his ribs. âIssehehei! Stahahap! Whahat are y-you dohohoing nohow?!!â
Matsukawa grinned, his smile playful yet tender as he looked down at Kuroo giggling like a kid. âI am trying to help you take your clothes off,â he said calmly, chuckling to himself when he teasingly scratched at Kurooâs highest ribs and he shrieked with laughter, arms clamping to his sides.Â
âI cahahan do thahahat mysehehelf!â Kuroo laughed, his back pressed against the cold tile of the wall as he squirmed from side to side, trying to pull Matsukawaâs hands out from under his shirt that had been raised to his chest already.Â
âDidnât you say you were so tired, though?â Matsukawa said over Kurooâs laugh. âNow, raise your arms so I can take your shirt off.â
âAhahare y-you cr-crahahazy?!â Kuroo squeaked, opening one of his eyes to look at Matsukawa. âDohoho y-you reheheally thihink Iâm gohohonna do thahahat?â
âDo it or Iâll do it myself.â
âD-Dohohonât be mehehan! Issehehei, just lehet me- eek! N-No! Hohold ohohon!â
Matsukawa laughed under his breath as he gathered both Kurooâs wrists in one of his big hands and lifted them up above his head. Kuroo started laughing right away, especially when he saw Matsukawaâs hand getting closer to his body, but Issei didnât touch him directly, simply grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it all the way up until it was off.Â
Matsukawa grinned mischievously as he looked at Kurooâs flushed face, his arms still pinned above his head. âWas that too hard?â
Kuroo shook his head, ân-no, so now l-let me go. Iâm getting coldâŠâ
Matsukawa hummed, âNope,â he said and his free hand quickly found one of Kurooâs underarms, his fingers quickly wiggling against the spot, sending Kuroo into hysterics right away. âThis is punishment for not trusting me.â
âNohohot thehehere!â Kuroo shrieked with that hyena laugh that never failed to make Matsukawa laugh too. âI hahahate yohohou!â
Matsukawa gasped, his fingers increasing in speed, causing Kurooâs knees to give up a little as he threw his head back, exposing the beautiful expand of his neck.
âYou are just being mean with me, Tetsu,â Matsukawa mumbled, puckering his lower lip in a pout. âI also wanted to help you with your pants.â
Kuroo shook his head, his cheeks flushing at Matsukawaâs words as tears of laughter clinged to his lashes. âNohohoh! Lehehet gohohoho nohohohow! ISSEHEHEI!â
â
âWe barely fit in here.â
âYouâre lying! Thereâs plenty of space,â Matsukawa said and Kuroo chuckled as he purposely wiggled closer to Matsukawa, noses almost touching.
âLook how close you are to me,â Kuroo faked a whine, intertwining his legs with Matsukawaâs. âI can barely move here.â
Matsukawa rolled his eyes playfully, his arms tightening around Kurooâs body. It felt so good to be together like this. Matsukawaâs nose tingled with the scent of his own shampoo coming from Kurooâs hair and he inhaled deeply, pressing his nose against Kurooâs temple. Matsukawa thought that he never wanted to let go of him.Â
He had missed him; with the whole situation with his grandfather, school and volleyball practice, Matsukawa felt that he had barely had a chance to see Kuroo for the past few days and he just missed him, even with Kuroo between his arms, he felt that their proximity wasnât enough and he imagined himself melting into Kuroo, forming just one being that could be together forever.
Would Kuroo laugh if he said that out loud?
âI missed you.â
That was Kurooâs voice and Matsukawa felt pure love rushing through him, making his heart swell and beat fast against his chest and he blushed, thinking that Kuroo might be able to hear it.Â
âI missed you too,â he whispered, kissing Kurooâs forehead. âIâm happy you are here.â
âIâm happy Iâm here too,â Kuroo whispered back, nuzzling his face against Matsukawaâs neck. âYou are making me feel sleepy,â he yawned. âI might⊠fall asleep soon.â
Matsukawa chuckled, kissing Kurooâs forehead again. That was exactly what he wanted. He wanted Kuroo to fall asleep because he knew he hadnât been resting well and it pained him because he knew his lover had been worried sick and he knew he always brushed it off when he was with Matsukawa, so Issei just really wanted him to relax and sleep.Â
Someone mumbled a goodnight and then someone else answered with an âI love youâ and then someone said âIâll see you tomorrowâ and someone else whispered âI love youâ again. Matsukawa wasnât so sure who said what, but it didnât matter because they both quickly fell into a peaceful and deep slumber.Â
It was some kind of dreamless sleep, exhaustion turning your brain off as soon as you closed your eyes. That kind of sleep that made you forget who and where you were. Or at least that was what it felt to Matsukawa.Â
At first, when he opened his eyes with a startle, he really didnât know where or who he was. It was dark around him and there was this constant noise ringing in his ears that just wouldnât let him concentrate. His heart was pounding and in his mind he heard his conscience screaming at him to wake up, to come to his senses; to realize that the noise he was hearing was Kuroo's piercing screams.
âTetsu!â Matsukawa sat up right away. âTetsu! Whatâs wrong?! Whatâs happe-
Only then, Matsukawa noticed that Kuroo, still laying beside him, was still asleep, but Matsukawa was petrified. Kuroo was crying and screaming and flailing around as if he wanted to fight something off. Despair, pain and pure fear overtook his features. He was sobbing with agony, his hands shaking as he gripped at his clothes.Â
Matsukawa had never seen him like this before, no, he had never seen anyone acting like this before and he didnât know what to do. He was frozen, staring at the person he loved the most writhing in fear, screaming as if he was being killed. Cold sweat made Matsukawaâs scalp prickle and it seemed like the urge to scratch at his head finally pulled him out from his trance and quickly reached out for Kurooâs shoulders, shaking him almost violently.
âKuroo!â Matsukawa yelled, his hands shaking just as hard as Kurooâs and his stomach twisting in knots, making him nauseous. âTetsurou! Wake up!âÂ
His voice was a plea, no matter how much and how hard he shook Kuroo's shoulders, he just wouldn't open his eyes, yet his crying and screaming continued to echo in the whole room.
A feeling of overwhelming panic rose in Matsukawa's chest and he began to hyperventilate a little as he realized that no matter what he did, Kuroo simply couldn't wake up. What should he do? Throw water at him? Give him a slap? Call an ambulance? He had never been in a situation like this and it seemed idiotic to him to look for information right at that moment, but⊠what could he do?!
âTetsu, please!â He tried again, shaking Kuroo once more, even harder this time. âItâs me! Issei! Matsukawa Issei! Wake up! Youâre fine! Itâs a nightmare! Please, wake up!â
Kuroo sobbed heavily and Matsukawa felt like crying himself too until he felt hands gripping his arms, fingernails digging into his skin.Â
âIssei!â Kuroo screamed, sobbing like a scared child before he opened his eyes widely, taking a deep breath as if he had emerged from under water.Â
âTetsu!â Matsukawa felt relieved and he let out the air he was unconsciously holding when Kuroo finally woke up. âTetsu, you are fine. Iâm here, you see? Everything is fine.â
Kuroo was still panicking, looking around the room and only then Matsukawa noticed that the lights were still off.Â
âShit,â he said, hurriedly getting up to turn on the light, but was stopped by Kurooâs arms wrapping around his waist.Â
âDonât go!â He begged, his body shaking in fear. âDonât leave me, please!â
âI wonât! I wonât, my love. Iâm just gonna turn the lights on! I promise!âÂ
âNo! Please! Donât leave me!â
Kuroo refused to let go and Matsukawa chose to turn on the lamp beside his bed and sat down back in bed, his arms immediately wrapping around Kuroo, embracing him tightly and gently rocking him like a mother lullying her precious child. He could feel Kuroo trembling, he could hear the hiccups and soft sobs and even feel Kurooâs heart beating hard⊠Matsukawa was scared. He was truly scared.Â
His hand, also shaking, was rubbing Kurooâs back gently, comforting. He didnât dare to speak, fearing that heâd startle Kuroo all over again. Goodness, he didnât want to see him like that ever again, he didnât believe he could stand it. He also couldnât understand what had just happened, was he actually dreaming? Was this actually a nightmare of his?
âI am sorry.â Matsukawa jolted, but quickly tightened his embrace around Kuroo. âI am so sorry, Issei,â Kuroo sobbed again, tears falling down his cheeks all over again. âI- I didnât- I couldnât- I just didnât think this would happen, Iâm so sorry! I scared you, didnât I? Iâm the worst, Iâm so sorry you had to see that! I-
âShh,â Matsukawa shushed, kissing Kurooâs shoulder before gently leaning back so he could see Kurooâs face, his heart clenching in his chest. âThere is no need to apologize, Tetsu. You are fine. You are safe. I am with you,â Matsukawa whispered, his hand cupping Kurooâs wet cheek. He looked at his golden eyes and felt something uncomfortable twisting in his chest, oh his lover looked so sad, so regretful. Why was his beautiful boyfriend so scared?Â
âI am sorry,â Kuroo repeated. âI shouldâve told you about this before, but I was⊠embarrassed,â he admitted sheepishly. âIt's so childish. Having night terrors at my age, itâs just⊠stupid. I should be able to control myself, but this happens every time I get stressed and with school and then my grandfather and I havenât been able to sleep properly and now weâre here together after so many days and look what I just did! Iâm so sorry, please forgive me,â Kuroo begged, looking at Matsukawa with tears in his eyes. âPlease, donât leave me, Issei. I didnât mean for this to happen, Iâm sorry I-
âTetsu!â Matsukawa said, grabbing Kurooâs trembling hands. âTetsu, breathe with me, okay? Breathe in⊠and breathe out. Good. Breathe in⊠and out⊠can you do it again?â
Kuroo nodded and he took a deep breath. Matsukawa helped Kuroo (and himself) to regulate their breathing and once he saw Kuroo a bit more calm, he dared to speak again.Â
âI am not mad at you, Tetsu,â Matsukawa said with a tender voice. âI wonât leave you because of this. I was just⊠scared and didnât know what to do. You just wouldnât wake up,â Matsukawa cleared his throat, hearing his voice getting watery. âI donât think you are childish at all, but I do think that you should have told me beforehand that you were having such a hard time and that this could happen to you, Tetsu.â
Kuroo frowned, nodding shyly. âI am sorry,â he repeated, squeezing Matsukawaâs hands between his.
Matsukawa nodded, âI am sorry you went through this, Tetsu. I know youâve been under a lot of stress lately, but everything will be better from now on,â he said, with a reassuring smile. âYou know Iâm here for you, love. I have never been good with dealing with other peopleâs emotions, but⊠with you itâs different, Tetsu. I understand you and I feel your pain and happiness. So please, trust in me a little more, yes? I will always be by your side and weâll work what we can together- Oh goodness, please donât cry, did I say something wrong?â
âNo, silly,â Kuroo sobbed, trying to hide his tears. âYou said everything right. Youâre so cheesy and I love you.â
Matsukawa blinked and then sighed and let out a little chuckle. âI love you too, Tetsu,â he said, gently pulling Kurooâs hand away from his face to press a kiss under one of his eyes. âI truly, truly love you.â
Kuroo sobbed softly and Matsukawa kissed under his other eye, his cheeks, his nose and finally his lips. A tender, chaste kiss to show his endless affection for this man in front of him. Kuroo melted under the affections and wrapped his arms around Matsukawaâs shoulder.
Matsukawa wasnât sure how much time they spent holding each other, sharing small kisses and shy smiles as their hearts slowly calmed down. Kuroo talked a bit about his night terror and stopped when he started shaking again, Matsukawa held him, grounding him and letting him know that he was not alone. Kuroo calmed again and they held each other so tightly and tenderly, until their legs and arms got numb and their backs started to hurt.
âThank you, Issei,â Kuroo whispered and Matsukawa grinned, making Kuroo grin too. âI donât think Iâll be able to fall asleep again for a bit, but you can come back to sleep again.â
Matsukawa rolled his eyes playfully and hugged Kuroo tightly, pushing him back into their lying positions. Kuroo giggled, holding onto him as they snuggled under the blanket.Â
âIâll stay up with you, then, until sleep comes and claims us both,â he said and Kuroo laughed and Matsukawa felt warmth spreading in his chest. âYou find my words funny?â
âOh not at all, youâre so poetic,â Kuroo teased, giggling when he felt a quick scribble against his spine. âDohohonât stahart thihis!â
Matsukawa smiled brightly, âmaybe I can tire you out so you can sleep again?â
âIssehehehei!âÂ
Listening to Kurooâs bright laughter and giggles was way better than hearing him cry and scream, but even if Kuroo were to fall victim to another night terror, Matsukawa would be there to help him wake up and to assure him that he is the best thing that has ever happened to him, that he is fine and safe. He would be there to calm his anxieties and help him when he was panicking. Because Matsukawa loved him madly and because thanks to Kuroo, Issei had understood that if you love someone, their emotions become yours, but yours also become theirs and that was a beautiful thing worth living.

PLATONICâŒïž bc idk if you had wanted it romantically or not (hehe bromantically)
Bokuto and Kuroo were currently chilling together on Kenmaâs couch. Where are their setters you may ask they went to go run some errands. And left the two because they can not be trusted in public together.
Kuroo in this sucky predicament he was in a lee mood and bokuto Isnât the best at pick up hints and asking to be tickled is definitely not an option. SoâŠ.provoking him? Eh itâs kinda the only option left.
âHehehey donât poke meâ bokuto flinched as he looked over at kuroo. âHuh dude whatâre you talking about both of my hands are on my phoneâ kuroo lied. âYeah okayâ bokuto squinted his eyes at him before unpausing his game.
âHe squinted at me good sign working slowly towards the goalâ
âDuhude quihit whatâs your deal roosterâ bokuto gripped his side looking down at kuroo. âI genuinely donât know what your talking aboutâ kuroo looked at him confused. âYeah okay misterâ Bokuto chuckled this time keeping an eye on him.
He unpaused his game acting like he was playing it but was really watching kuroo waiting for him to poke him again. Kuroo waited a bit he looked up and seen him looking at the Tv screen and reached out to poke his side again.
âHA I caught you red frickin handed dude whatâs up your being more touchy than usual not that it bothers me or anything itâs just oddâ Bokuto grabbed kurooâs wrist smiling in confusion. âI think he mightâve caught me⊠wait this bokuto weâre talking about heâll end up thinking itâs something elseâ
âWait a minute are you trying to start a tickle fight with me?â Bokuto slowly let go of kuroo wrist.
âKnew itâ
âDude what no Iâm notâ kuroo lied totally was believableâ.
âOhoo it is on brother prepared to get wreckedâ bokuto rolled up his sleeves before he leaped on top of kuroo who was trying to âget awayâ. â
Cohome ohon Boâ kuroo anticipation giggles started getting the best of him. âDude I havenât even done anything yetâ bokuto chuckled.
âOH MY LORD CAN HE PLEASE JUST GET ON WITH IT ALREADY ANTICIPATION IS STARTING TO GET THE BEST OF MEâ.
Bokuto began tickling at his sides kuroo gripping onto his wrists âtryingâ to push his hands away.
âBohoho nohoho ahahahaâ kuroo giggled. âNo this is what you get for poking me and tickling me earlierâbokuto reminded.
Kuroo began tickling bokutoâs sides due to his cheeky personality and plus why not.
âHehehey thihis punishment is for yohohou nohot meheâ bokuto laughed as he jerked from side to side.
âoho Noho yohou dohonâtâ bokuto says as he feels kurooâs hands move up to his ribs.
âWhahat ya gonnahahaha doho abohout ihitâ kuroo provoking bokuto even more.
âYou cohocky hair for brahahains imma doho thisâ bokuto immediately shove both hand under kurooâs armpits.
âNOHOHO BOHOHO THAHAHATâS NAHAHAHAT FAHAHAIRâ kuroo cackled as lunged his head back like that was gonna do something.
âCoochie coochie coo~â bokuto teased him verbally and physically.
âNAHAHA STAHAHAP TEASIHIHING MEHEHEâ
âHmmmm no tell me kuroo does it tickle more when I tickle fast or slowâ bokuto asked. âITS BAHAHAD FAHAHASTâ
âGood to knowâ bokuto kept that intel for future reference.
*sneaks around the corner* me see demon slayer? me see open requests? me kindly ask for fic with lee sanemi and ler tengen with "that was very disrespectful, sanemi!"? đđ»đđ»
âąOH MY BEAUTIFUL LOVEBIRD, OFC, ANYTHING FOR YOU, sorry for the delay, alot has been happening, hadn't found motivation for awhile and overall just been chatting with some friend's about lee Rui because well, spider baby deserves it???? ANYWHO, ignore the fact I made Shinobu more of the teaser and ler because well, I can, BUT OTHERWISE ENJOY!
"That was very disrespectful, Sanemi-san~!" Cooed the insect hashira, legs crossed as she watched from the sidelines, watching as the sound hashira, Tengen Uzui, was currently destroying the wind hashira, Shinazugawa Sanemi, after the rather 'harsh' outburst he had stated towards Tengen, who totally thought that was 'unflashy and absurd.'
"Kohohocho-! Yohou- gah, fuhuhuck ohohoff!" The scarred male tried to give a threatening glare, only to look silly and soft in the process, "Aww, why are you so harsh? Your giggling says otherwise, you know, maybe if you didn't smile like a little troll, I'd let you be, hm?" Tengen chorused, him? Smiling like a troll? how dare he!?
"Uzui-san, here, let me show you how to actually get Sanemi-san loopy." She said, the calm smile on her face meaning pure chaos for the wind hashira. 'Oh you better not let her, how am I kidding, she'd do it anyways!' He thought, eye's clenching closed for the expected.
"Kitchi-kitchi-koo..~"
'What the hell Kocho!?'
And just like that, the famously known 'evil looking' hashira was reduced to a purely hysterical and blushy puddle.
"Kitchi-kitchi-koo~ uh oh, is Sanemi-san feeling a little goofy? Or did he think of something funny, hm?" She teased, gently fluttering at his neck, oh how it tickled so dang bad.
"Oh? Give me a try!" Tengen grinned, only for Shinobu to let him go wild, oh how it was so much more ticklish when Tengen massaged the spot under his ear's, causing him to screech and squirm, kicking, punching, anything he could do to get away. "Aww, Sanemi-san, how adorably childish you are." Shinobu chuckled, "STOHOHOHOP TEHEHEASING!!!" He cackled, "Oh? Just the teasing, hm?" Tengen smirked, crap, this'll take alot longer then expected.

Request: @myreygn
Romantic! Bokuroo
Prompt: "Don't say a word, just dance with me."
Warnings: none that I know of! please let me know if there are any!
___________
Bokuto had just arrived home from his practice when he heard faint music coming from his shared bedroom with his husband Kuroo. He tilted his head and set his gym bag down, removing his shoes and walking towards their room cautiously, confused. He poked the door with his finger so it would open just a crack, the slow classical music becoming slightly louder than before. Bokuto smiled softly as he saw Kuroo folding clothes in front of their bed, swaying slowly to the music. Bokuto slowly opened the door, a fond smile gracing his features as he leaned against the doorframe. He sat there and watched as Kuroo swayed, folding laundry until there was none left. Once he turned around he jumped a little, shocked to see his husband home. he swiveled around to check the time and his eyes widened, he was about to apologize and greet Bokuto when the owl looking man stepped forward. He grabbed his hips gently and pulled him close, a soft, calm expression on his face. He started to sway as the music played, closing his eyes for a moment. Kuroo wrapped his arms around his neck and relaxed, he opened his mouth to say something when Bokuto Interrupted.
"Don't say a word, just dance with me."
Kuroo closed his mouth and softly smiled. He loved the small moments where Bokuto was calm, he was able to admire the sharp and soft features of his face, relax in his warm touch, and just relax. Bokuto leaned his head forward and touched their foreheads. He opened his eyes to fondly stare into Kuroo's and it was then that Kuroo remembered why he married him.
He was his safe place.

I hope you liked it! please leave a request if you have any!
Mai sipped from her overpriced champagne and scanned the crowded ballroom with bored eyes, the only sign of her impatience being the gentle tap of a black nail against the glass flute.
In Mai's peripheral, Ty Lee was an elegant shock of pink, her bubbling laugh rising above the crowd as she flirted her way into the personal space of their main target, the casual sweep of her braid over her shoulder the silent signal Mai had been waiting for.
With the practiced ease of a her upbringing, Mai moved around the dance floor without being noticed, merely a pale body in a black dress as she brushed past her fiance and slipped the offered keycard out of her hand, fingers trailing over Ty Lee's wrist in a silent show of support before she melted back into the crowd.
