Gianna received awards for perfect attendance, being the top speller in her class (734 words), physical education and a math award (mastering adding, subtracting and multiplication)! I’m so proud of Gianna. She killed the 1st grade. We did a big girl thing today; Gianna got her ears pierced. People always find it strange that her ears weren’t pierced as a baby, but I always said it would be her choice if she wanted her ears pierced. She’s been asking about it for a few months, so today we were both off and we went and got it done!
