(This is one of my poems, I like writing and such. And hope to one day become an author. Yes, Big dreams that some people couldn't say won't happen, but believe me. I will try anyway.)

I stand among crowds of gentle hands, warm voices calling me by name, but loneliness wraps itself around my ribs like a shadow that won't fade.

I see other teens reach out to love that comes easily, softly, unbroken and in me, a small voice of envy presses like a bruise that never shows. 

I still long for the love that once sliced me open, a toxic memory i shouldn't forget, but my heart keeps reaching for what it never had.

A lump forms in my throat when i try to speak, as if my emotions are locked behind a closed door with no key in sight.

I left, but the restlessness remained, a hum beneath my skin I'm free, but not somehow, like a bird who broke free from its cage but still flies around the memory of it. 

Kindness itself makes me overthink, turning even the simplest gesture into a riddle I can't solve it without questioning myself. Some nights I want to weep into my pillow, but the tears won't come, stuck between the pain and the numbness.

♡ Favorite Colors: Pink, Purple, and Blue. Pink and purple have been my OG favorites ever since I was little, and blue is my new addition; it’s really grown on me over the years.

♡ Favorite Artists: Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Sabrina Carpenter. I’ve been an OG Lady Gaga fan forever, and I used to love Hannah Montana when I was younger. About two years ago, I started listening to Sabrina Carpenter more often, and I’ve really fallen in love with her music.

♡ Favorite Anime: One Piece, fun fact: I actually used to hate One Piece. I always told people I’d never watch it because it was too long and I didn’t like the art style. Then I saw one edit of a character from the show, decided to give it a shot… and it became my favorite anime of all time! It even got me back into anime in general.

♡ Favorite Books: My Vampire Plus One by Jenna Levine and Out on a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young, My Vampire Plus One was hilarious and super cute; it cracked me up so many times! Out on a Limb was more emotional. I’m usually not a fan of the pregnancy trope, but I gave it a chance, and it turned out to be really sweet and heartfelt. Totally recommend both!

♡ Favorite Movies: Corpse Bride, The Batman, and The Dark Knight. What an odd combo, right? I’ve loved Corpse Bride since I was a kid (even though it used to scare me a little back then). Now it’s my ultimate comfort movie, and I always rewatch it when it gets cold outside. As for The Batman, I didn’t see it right away when it came out, but once I did, I thought it was really good! Still, nothing beats The Dark Knight, my all-time favorite movie. I rewatch it every single year.

♡ Random Fact About Me: When I was younger, I hated spaghetti because one time my mom made it, and I got really sick afterward. For years, I refused to eat it. But as I got older, it somehow became my favorite food — now it’s my ultimate comfort meal.
