That seems to be their MO when they’re not getting their way. You know they were responsible for the longest government shutdown in US history? Ngl it’s pretty pathetic when you as the president cannot keep the country functioning.

It's a common misconception among mortals that Hellhounds are just one breed, whereas they come in many kinds of forms.

Some are small enough to hide in the tightest of spaces, others will tower above their peers, some will wag war against the servants of Nikilim, and others will oppose the mightiest of beasts. No matter the form of the Hellhound they are specialized to each of their assigned goals.

As for Cerberus, he might be on the smaller size, but his devotion and courage will allow him to overcome the mightiest of barriers, no barrier will stop him from achieving the goals that his Overlord assigns to him, such is the nature of a Hellhound!

You know, I don't think "we're living through times frighteningly similar to nazi germany" is a fresh observation- at least, not to me- but it's always good to see it laid out this way to remind us that we're not going crazy, we're not being dramatic, and shit is REALLY REALLY BAD.

Unfortunately, they cheated in the last election they “won”, too. It’s very complicated and I don’t fully understand or remember everything (it was almost ten years ago), but as far as I understand it, here goes:

The last time they were elected because Russia helped them win, and this time they were elected because Elon Musk helped them win, and because every attempt to remove them has been so far unsuccessful, we are unfortunately stuck with the results of rich, powerful men cheating their way to the top for the next 1,304 days.

I understand the temptation. Really I do. The comfort of despair is preferable to the burden of hope. But I promise the burden is worth bearing.

OotP is a FANTASTIC instalment; I know it gets shit on in the fandom for various reasons, but I still REALLY like it. It’s very topical, especially right just now lol.

My personal favourite is Goblet of Fire. It just scratches that very specific nostalgic itch in my brain that I can’t resist.

As for recs, I’m currently reading The Odyssey (again) because it’s one of my favourites. And because apparently I’m still into both classic lit and children’s books, I really enjoyed A Wrinkle In Time.
