one would expect someone was going to be happy about successful matchmaking, but unfortunately robin wasn't. they had been at first, back when things first kicked off, but with time it got less and less exciting. seeing their best friend with someone else made them feel some kind of way they didn't understand. he would rather not admit to being jealous, but he didn't know what else to call it. they were at his place with a bottle of wine between them, robin almost happy that the other's girlfriend wasn't here. " how was your date yesterday ? " he asked, immediately regretting his curiosity. robin knew they'd probably hate the answer.

"i thought i was clear when i said we were done." megara said with her classic tone of irony, clearly teasing them: it was pretty clear that it didn't matter "that being said, you've got no right to act like an asshole the whole party just 'cause i brought someone else." even though she said all that, the amusement her expression held was pretty much saying the opposite.
