In the days leading up to this week, when we knew social distancing measures were to come, we tried to make one last stop at all of our favourite local places... Before Manitoba had any confirmed illnesses, we went for coffee and on wine dates. Because the part of this epidemic that really scares me is how much of our lives it could permanently change. How many small businesses we love may not be able to weather this storm and come out the other side still operating. I am too often guilty of buying fast fashion because it’s easy. If this brief time inside has taught me anything so far, it’s just how much of what we considered impossible is possible. Places we love may not reopen when this ends. Brands we love may not be able to keep producing merchandise. So I’m doing everything I can now to be mindful of supporting small businesses and brands that I love from the comfort of my couch. The times may be uncertain, but we can still look fabulous while we move through them 😉 ☕️ #myaritzia (at Small Mercies) https://www.instagram.com/p/B91e0cqJ7cl/?igshid=1mzvjmxb9dx2r
