PLACEMENT
I think during the next week or so I'm going to still look and apply for more placement opportunities- just incase anything doesn't go to plan. Im set into getting a placement. And my placement at Joules is looking more promising in comparison to the others, as i think it has helped me knowing someone who already works there.
I do however have my heart set for a placement in Adelaide, and I'm going to do as much as i can so that i know i have put the hard work and effort into getting a placement somewhere in a completely different environment, where there is so many opportunities and expieriences which i think will help me the most for future jobs or placements!
consideration
I am currently considering an online portfolio as i feel it is much more of an appropriate and professional way for possible employers/companys or studios to view my work. Also everyone has access to internet in this day and age and so it won't be a problem to be adding new current work as i go along. It will also mean that it should not be as much of a problem for people to access my portfolio, if i send a email along with a e-portfolio attached it may possibly mean the employer will have to access their email every time to view an e-portfolio unless they save it to their computer for as a website they may possibly take note of the url address or even remember it if its a name. If i was to produce an online portfolio i will need to make sure it reflects me as a brand so that i receive some recognition.
PLAN OF ACTION:
-i need to but a domain for my portfolio -i also need to consider hosting or if i could possibly run it off a free hosting site -design i need to also think about the design i want my page to look which i have already looked at and know the layout I'm considering for my online portfolio. -cost of a online portfolio- i need to search into the cost of what it will cost me to make a final portfolio that i will be happy with it looking to my expectations.
