I’ve been rewriting what little I have written of [insert unknown name of fantasy series here] and just a note for future self I’ve totally rewritten Liv’s character as a researcher because I think it gives her more growth and background to fit her story and make the character stronger. Before I was basically just telling the readers she’s strong without backing it up because honestly it just didn’t fit now I can actually show her as a strong character without worrying if it makes sense or not because it does she’s experienced and would know how to take care of herself. It’s a big change because it meant steamrolling the previous motives and connections with other character but I like it a lot more actually (which is surprising, I was pretty attached to her as queen). So far the rewrite is looking good and is at 5k of consecutive words but like 10k total words from a scene i wrote that won’t be relevant any time soon. Fingers crossed 🤞
