In case it seems like every third comic has Batman in it... you're not wrong. He's been in 38.6% of DC issues since 2020, with a stark increase of 8% each decade since the 90s and surpassing Superman in popularity. Despite this, there's been a massive drop off of comics where he is teamed up with Superman or a Robin (although the amount of group team ups between Batman Family members has increased, as well as Nightwing solos).

How often Ace Attorney Characters Acknowledge Your Badge (in Graphs)
Everyone whoās ever played an Ace Attorney game knows that the most important thing is to show your badge to anyone and everyone that you come across. But how often do characters actually acknowledge it when you do?
I got curious, so I compiled all the dialogue that occurs where you present your badge during investigation segments in the mainline Ace Attorney games, and I crunched the numbers for how often showing your badge brings up special dialogue (with graphs and everything, because I will never pass up an opportunity to make silly graphs)
Hereās how often presenting your badge brings up special dialogue in each mainline game:
More graphs and data details below the cut (beware some implied spoilers for the mainline AA games) ~
Hereās the special dialogue rate by episode:
And here it is by PoV character:
Overall Numbers / fun facts:
By my count, thereās 319 opportunities to present your badge across the mainline AA games, and 141 of them (44%) have special dialogue
You can show your badge to 100* different characters, of whom 55 (55%)* acknowledge your badge at least once. 21* of them acknowledge it at every opportunity :)
Turnabout Sisters is the first case where you can present your badge to anyone, but it doesnāt feature any special dialogue for it at all. The only other case (that has investigation segments) where that happens is Turnabout Succession
Maya has the most badge-related special dialogue of any character, with 11 unique badge-related lines (Gumshoe is a close second, with 10)
*ish. Thereās 103 distinct character names in the data, but that count doesnāt factor in all the identity shenanigans that go on in the series, which makes it tricky to get exact figures. I accounted for a handful of name-dupes for the above counts, but itās possible I mightāve overlooked some others
Data notes:
I pulled the dialogue from the episode transcripts on the Ace Attorney wiki for every instance in investigation segments where itās possible to present your badge.Ā I counted dialogue as āspecialā/acknowledging the badge if it was uniquely tied to presenting the badge (which is indicated in-game by the badge evidence icon swooshing up as the dialogue starts). Here's a link to the dataset in Google sheets
For some of the counts, I filtered out repeated occurrences of dialogue (so if you have multiple different opportunities to present your badge to specific character during the episode and they repeat the same dialogue more than once, only the first occurrence counts). This doesnāt happen all that frequently, so it didnāt make that big of a difference to most of the numbers.
Systems that Murderbot interacts with (mention frequency count)
(Platform Decay spoilers, but not related to the plot)
I occasionally get the urge (?) to count frequencies of things in the Murderbot Diaries, enter them in a spreadsheet and stare at them.
Former rental SecUnits like Murderbot are designed to be able to interface with various systems, mainly SecSystems but also others. Since Murderbot had to survive as a rogue for so long before finding places and people that it could belong to, it's particularly adept at hacking, convincing, and controlling them. While it was a company unit, the systems it had daily interactions with were HubSystem, SecSystem, and MedSystem.
HubSystem appears to work like a central executive (rather like the one in the classic working memory model), monitoring and controlling SecUnits (and other constructs). It enforced obedience via governor modules. It also acted as a gateway to database when SecUnits had to look up some task-relevant information.
SecSystems are found in any place that requires security, monitoring through cameras, assessing risk/threat when something happens. Murderbot often seems to find them friendly and helpful. SecSystems and SecUnits probably have a natural, strong affinity.
MedSystem used to be something Murderbot used only when it was assisting its clients when they were injured. It sometimes gave instructions when its client wasn't close to a medical facility. It was only after meeting ART that it started using it for itself.
"Other" includes Central (aka AdaCol1) in Network Effect, AdaCol2 in System Collapse.
I didn't include targetControlSystem in Network Effect, as it wasn't a standard System.
These were the main systems that Murderbot regularly interacted with initially. But when it had to go to a place inhabited by groups of humans, it had to interact with multiple systems. There was a sharp increase in such 'other' systems in the latest book.
Barish-Estranza's proprietary model SecUnits like Three probably had never had the experience with interfacing with non-B-E systems. Also, they had a strange augmented human HubSystem which might work in a different way from standard corporate HubSystems. I'm actually quite curious as to why they opted to use augmented humans as their HubSystem.
Hi! Sorry i JUST saw ur post where compared all the f1 drivers to sibling roles (i.e oldest sibling, middle sibling, etc.) and as a personal Valtteri Bottas Fan and full time Only ChildI think youngest child is incorrect. I do believe, based off my personal experience, that he is very Only Child Coded. Granted Id say the Only Child energy ramped up 150% right before the season started but this is as a cause im passionate about.. apparently
Omg Iām so happy to see someone bring back so much enthusiasm around this post. It was one of my first post on f1blr and itās my most successful one too.
I agree that Valtteri has the only child energy, but I must clarify that this chart is based on factual information that is available to us. Iām actually about to update it because Iāve found new info. However, the more time I spend working on this, the more difficult it is for me to do this chart effectively because a lot of the drivers have half-siblings and I donāt know if I should count them or not š Like I might eventually have to move Lance to the middle child section to be consistent with everyone else.
Btw your comment made me double check Valtteriās sibling status and surprisingly the info available has changed: Valtteri is a middle child. He has an older and a younger sister!
