Something you need to remember is that journalistic photographers are still artists at heart. When you are providing a source of information that is to be seen as "the truth" you are going to frame things to look a certain way.
You will publish the ones that look like what you want. The framing of Luigi Mangione's transportation is incredibly evocative of paintings of Jesus being arrested. It also (not so) coincidentally is often the framing of a hero being captured for the greater good.
This is ON PURPOSE. Do not discredit the artist by calling it a mistake. This was on purpose. The artist supports him and is framing him as a hero.
No matter how much corporate news may attempt to drown out the support for Mangione, artists always have the ear of the people. A picture is worth a thousand words, isn't it?
BOOTLEG PART 2 - Bootleg Reflections
The first bootleg comic blew wayyy up on Reddit and started a whole trend of everyone making bootleg comics for a bit. I kinda felt conflicted over the whole thing tho, I don't want to abuse the algorithm/stick with what gets popular just so I can get easy likes
THIS ONE WAS ANOTHER COLLAB WITH MY IRL FRIEND JASMINE EVERYONE SAY HI TO HER
MY GOD DAMN, MARK WALBERGE WHAT THE MAN YOU ARE, WHY IS HE SO HOT IN THE MOVIE FEAR, THE CHARACTER SUCKS BUT THE ACTOR IS FINEE 😍😍🤭🤭
Crazy that Izumi called her employee at the meat shop and said something to the effect of, "Hey, I know I'm only giving you a couple hours notice but I've got two kids that I'm going to ditch in Yock Island for a month to test them, could you hide there and watch over them covertly to make sure they don't die. I'll pay you extra if you also put on a komainu mask and terrorize the shit out of them." And then Mason, the otherwise completely normal butcher's assistant, was like, "How did you know this was my life's dream," and went off to live in the wilderness and attack children for thirty days and nights.

I’m not old enough to really remember the beginning of the war in Iraq, but lots of people who were are sounding the alarm about the propaganda going around right now. It’s called “manufacturing consent,” and it’s used to tip a population’s opinion in favor of an action by their government.
They’ll tell us whatever they need to in order to get us to go along with their goals, so we need to make sure we’re looking into claims before we spread them around online— even if they seem to support our current beliefs.
I am the first one to say that Polin deserves so much better than what they got and that it was barely polin season.
But making them read the "hot take" about John and Francesca stealing the show was mean. You can see how done and stressed Nic is when she say they actually worked hard for 9 months... And she is right, they worked really hard. They worked hard with a poor script that gave them barely nothing. They worked hard with rewrites made for a showrunner who has no idea how to write polin's love story nor believes in it. They worked hard while having to share the spotlight with every one and their mothers because their love story was never the foccus of the season. Luke worked hard and gave us some of the most memorable moments despite not being treated as a protagonist. They did work hard. And every beautiful and iconic and actually good thing in the season was actually THEM.
Imagine carry the season in your back. Make something out of the nothing the show gave you, be the reason why it got so much praise and attention (and also the reason it wasn't a complete failure because you are great wonderful capable actors who unlike the people in charge, know and understand your characters) just for your production think it is a good idea to make you - AS PROMOTION FOR THE NEXT SEASON - read a comment saying that another story/relationship stole your show. When everyone knows they used your season, your time to shine, as a build up for everyone else.
Not to mention they're literaly being used as bait for people to watch season 4. A season that continues to erase and exclude Colin Bridgerton/Luke Newton and decided to turn Whistledown in a pupped for the Queen. Penelope was powerful, she build and empire... And now they took her power and her voice and gave the control to someone else (the Queen), after she had to share this plot with her bully (Cressida, that they tried to redem) in her season.
I stand by that what we got wasn't a proper Polin season and they deserve so much better and even another opportunity to shine (a redo), but not because of them, no, they were what saved the show. They MADE the season. This production, however, failed them and now seems to be blaming them for their terrible writting and general bad decisions.
