When Bonnie Bennett woke up, she was confused for just a moment before she realized where she was, and who she was with and she relaxed, smiling sleepily as she turned to look at him. Looking him over for a moment, she knew could lay there forever and be entirely content. It was a scary thought, to realize she did care that much, but at the moment, she didn’t care. She still slipped out of bed early despite her desire to stay there, doing so as quietly as she could so as to not disturb him. He deserved to get as much sleep as he could, the day before had been a long day, and for an entirely different reason, she’d hoped that this day would as well. Out of bed, she went through the motions, taking a shower, getting ready for the day as she packed a small bag, as well as a few other items necessary for her surprise. She’d just finished putting things together when she heard something, and assuming it was the heretic she offered a quick “Good morning.”.

“So, I’ve got a proposition for you. You won’t like all of it, but I’ll make it worth your while.”

“What the hell is your problem?!”

In the middle of the night, Bonnie Bennett should have been fast asleep in her bed. In the middle of the night, Malachai Parker should have been asleep in his own bed. But, instead, Bonnie found herself on his doorstep, hesitating for just a moment before knocking on his door as she noted the time and how bad the idea was. Right now, none of that mattered though. She needed a distraction, she needed someone, and Kai was it, and she wasn’t going to let anything else ruin that. 

Waking up early was a force of habit for Bonnie Bennett, and anymore, waking up next to Kai Parker was one as well. When she woke up, she moved slowly, adjusting herself to look around the room for just a moment, looking at him for a moment before remembering the plan. Acknowledging the clock at the bedside, she knew she had to get to work or things wouldn’t be ready whenever Felix arrived. Still, she spent another moment looking at the sleeping heretic, letting him have another moment of peace before rolling on her side to face him and reaching over to shake his arm. “Kai, you need to wake up.”

Bonnie: But I'm sorry I was a bitch earlier

Bonnie: And I didn't even have to push you off the couch to leave
