I am a lymphoma patient and without treatment with Rituxan, which I took several years ago, I wouldn’t be here today writing this post. So many people have survived blood cancers thanks to the many “miracle drugs” that are now available — drugs that need lots of research and tons of money. My daughter Gillian (@lalalunchbox) has been raising money every year for LLS, one of the most important blood cancer organizations in the world. This year Gillian’s husband Jesse has been nominated for this year’s LLS Man of the Year. His team seeks to raise $150,000. But EVERY DOLLAR counts. Big donations! Small donations! They all matter and I hope all who read this and know me will find it in their hearts to support this worthy charity. I am so grateful for the years I never thought would be. Good News! I may not have won the Man of the Year award but collectively, all the candidates raised nearly $500k to help end #bloodcancer for good!
