He should’ve known that breeding humans would only get his species’ into trouble and no matter how kind and soft he was, it seemed as though he had to face the brunt of the human’s anger and outrage towards the werewolf species and he was left to be nothing more as a side-show for a circus, an attraction for humans to pay to see shift before their eyes.
He had been with this particular circus for months, now, the only werewolf in their ranks and the silver shackles that were on his wrists and ankles had left nearly permanent raw skin from the sheer amount of pain that came with having silver on his skin. He hated it. He didn’t like that humans were able to use him as nothing more than a house pet.
Lost in his reverie, Riley nearly missed the sound of the gate opening and when he turned, he saw another werewolf being thrown into his cage and he looked on, curious and wary, at the new one in his habitat.
