yes, i am a 4th year medical student. i am about to graduate with my MD and enter residency which is further training for physicians in their specialty of choice.
as far as if med school is represented well in fics, i honestly can’t say. i haven’t personally read any medical au’s. i did write a surgical residency au and the medical portions of that are accurate at least according to my experience.
do we manipulate people? ummmmm... no?
general atmosphere is: work hard. be a team player. everyone is tired. no whining. patients come first. always.
and to your final question: is med school as hard as it seems?
but to be honest with you or anyone thinking of going to medical school, the best thing i can tell you is that it is all about expectations.
is it insanely hard? yes.
will it drive you to places that you never thought you’d go (and places you never thought you’d get out of?) yes.
does it consume most (if not all) of your 20′s? yeppers.
but is getting the chance to help people at their lowest point the absolute best job in the world and greatest privilege? big yes.

Nyt meillä on taas vapautumassa muutama huone siihen tarkoitukseen. Jos koet tarvitsevasi yhteisöllistä tukea jostain kokemuksesta toipumiseen, uusien asioiden kohtaamiseen ja ihan tavallisen arjen harjoittelemiseen olet tervetullut jakamaan elämääsi kanssamme.
