Obviously I had to pick Naia's muski companion, Neech! He's basically a golden retriever, but a little eel-kitten thing, and the sweetest little critter.

- She would think he is the most adorable creature she’s ever seen. She would give him little scritches under the chin, call him cute and he would relish in it bc he’s precious and he knows it

- She would feed him glow moss, like Naia does in the books, but since it’s implied that glow moss only exists in Grot in show canon it would be completely new to him and he would love it. He would often sneak into her pack for more and Naia would scold him for it

- Therefore, Neech would absolutely lose it in the Caves of Grot until Naia would have to shove him in her pack or Deet would tell him to not eat all of it because they need to save it for the nurlocs and other cave creatures. and he would listen, because he’s a good boy.

- Deet would quickly become Neech’s favorite Gelfling after Naia and Gurjin. Obviously Muskis are nothing if not loyal to their Drenchen masters but he would be very fond of Deet

- If she were upset or being affected by the Darkening, he would do little things to comfort her like nudging and nuzzling her face with his little head. You can’t tell me he’s not the cuddly type
